    I've been researching for days and your video is the ONLY comprehensive video on the Grand (or any) Harpsicle (that I could find). You have done the people considering this harp a huge service, not to mention the service this video will provide the makers. I likely WOULD NOT have purchased mine if I had not found THIS video. Thank you for making this video.
    Maybe they should at least give you one of the metal stands as a thank you.

    Wow! Complimenti per il tuo nuovo acquisto! Farete grandissime cose insieme.
    È stato molto bello vederti felice quando hai estratto la tua arpa dalla sua custodia.

    I am so curious about what you use for amplification! I screenshot your “usual setup for live amplified solo gigs” but would love more info. (I don’t love my audio setup.)

      I put the names of the gear I use in the video description! And for my pedal harp pickup I use the Fishman SBT-HP Soundboard Transducer for Harp & Piano

    Thanks for your review. Very detailed. How is the string spacing and tension. Is it similar to your troubadour harp.

    • @bjacksonharp
      @bjacksonharp  10 месяцев назад

      The spacing is pretty similar, but it is a mid/light tension harp. Troubadours are pedal tension

    Hi Bridget! Thank you for that wonderful review! I do have a question. How is the string spacing of the grand harpsicle compared to other floor harps also the tension? Also sound quality compared to your other harps? Thank you and and God bess you!

      Hi, thanks for your questions! The string spacing is pretty similar to my other floor lever harp which is a L&H Troubadour VI, but the tension is lighter (L&H lever harps have concert tension). I can't really speak to comparing it to other light-tension harps since I don't own/regularly play other light tension floor harps.
      The tone is great for a harp its size (you can hear me play demos of later on in this video with different mic setups), I think since the soundbox is the same wide rectangle dimension from top to bottom. The sound quality is definitely less than my L&H harps, but that's just due to the harpmaker's quality and also the size of my L&H harps.
      For the size, weight, and price point, the grand harpsicle has the best tone of a lightweight lever harp that I've experienced.

      Ok... Anyways, thank you for your reply! I own a Marini Made Harps 10 String Davidic Harp. It's got a REALLY GOOD and surprising tone to me for it's size and it's way deeper than my other harp with 16 strings which is a Wee Bonnie by Stoney End Harps. I'm currently looking for a floor harp with at least 30 something strings but that's not $20,000😂 and I saw the Grand Harpsicle and I thought that it is a great option, considering the range and cost! Especially since I play at church it would be way better than carrying an eighty-pound harp. What are your thoughts? Also if you want to you can check my channel out😁👍I don't have a lot of videos yet and most of them I was a beginner but I'm getting better 👍
      Thank you and God bless you!

      @@CodySOCHarpist thanks! The grand harpsicle is only 12 lb so it definitely is a lot easier to transport, you can get a convenient carrying case for it as well. They also come with a pickup mic installed so you can amplify yourself if you feel the need to while performing

    About, "where"...did you have the harp's volume control, on your demos? Max volume? 75%...etc?

    • @bjacksonharp
      @bjacksonharp  Год назад

      The demo of just the harp unamplified was just with my phone mic, the 2 with the amp was with my phone mic and the amp at mid volume (what I'd set it to for a live gig), the 2 with the interface were with the harp pickup and were both at mid volume (what I'd set it for for a recording)
