What a journey Dan James had to endure. He was so gracious and calm even though the deal fell through. I wish him all the best at United. He is under excellent guidance with Ole. Sorry to see this. But ultimately a great insight as to what goes on during a transfer Saga.

The owner (who we don't really like at Swansea) wanted to sell him. But the chairman, who has to approve the deal just turned his phone off and ignored the owners and Leeds because he didn't want to sell him. Unfortunately, Huw's no longer our chairman as the owners got rid of him. Turned out good though as we had James for the rest of the season and got over twice as much money from Man United as we would have got from Leeds.

As a Swans fan this is tough to watch with how badly our owners and chairman handled it, but also sums up the state of our club the last 3/4 years. Utter shambles. Glad Dan got an even better move in the end though, deserved it after going through all this

It ended quite well in the end for both parties. James ended up at Man U, with Leeds finally getting promoted to the prem. Sadly can't say the same for Swansea however. Will certainly be an even more interesting and intense match than it already is between MUFC and LUFC next season though.

Although it was tough break for leeds. I'm glad that this is how things transpired. This last season would of been disaster without James in a United shirt. Even a dip in form and a goal drought towards the end doesn't take away what he managed to accomplish in his first season. He gave us alot. He's shaping up to be one hell of a player.
