Bielsa is the reason I want Leeds in the Premier League and no other reason. A legend of the game, a man of principle, and one of the very few people in the sport who have the courage of their convictions.
no spine. they're in that league becasue of him. terrible decision on his part cost them 2 crucial points and thats it
The only reason against many reasons I want Bielsa in the Premier League. But I want Leeds to keep doing what they are doing bottling it against Wednesday (my team) and failing to get promoting.

The dark filter makes it amazing tho
Yea, savage!
Imma use that editing trick, makes it seem more cinematic

Marcelo Bielsa has more passion, dedication and love for this sport than half of my generation combined. He deserves 10 times more recognition than he gets.

Bielsa really living life out here like it’s fifa career mode. Taking average teams and making them contenders for silverware/promotion. Genius.
They've scored 7 total goals in their first 2 games back in the Prem. That's insane.

@@gold9994 marseille literally back him up and yet he still fail, accept the fact that how he play is a double edged sword and he need specific characters to work with, try give him a player like neymar or hazard and he will fail miserably.

This kind of reminds me of a game I played when I was a kid. It was the last game of our season and our opposition hadn't scored a goal all season. They were woeful and our manager told us at halftime to let them score a goal as it would mean a lot to them. To be fair there were kids with disabilities and the like but it's the best goal we ever conceded and we made it seem like they scored it on merit rather than gifted them the goal. We won something silly like 17-1 but I always remember them celebrating like they'd won. Sometimes sports are about more than winning
Lovely story, mate

This clip leaves out the fact that earlier in the game, Villa stopped play because a Leeds player was down injured. But Leeds players didn't return the courtesy when a Villa play was down and as a result, they scored. That's why it was the morally right call for Bielsa to make, and respect to him for making it.
Still unusual why I ref didn’t call it
I’m so proud of having had him as coach of my former team Atlas de Guadalajara from ‘93 to ‘96. He developed the greatest and most sophisticated football recruiter system in the country. He’s responsible of recruiting 4 of the best mexican football players of all times; Jared Borgetti, Oswaldo Sánchez, Pavel Pardo and Rafael Marquez. He’s a genius!!

Being a Villa fan, this scene almost moved me to tears. It was obviously very reluctant, but Bielsa knew what was right and lived by it. So much respect for that man.
I'm really happy Leeds will be back in PL next year, to me that is Karma for what happened at this moment last year. Well deserved.
Add: Today is the decisive game against West Ham for my team. Whether or not we will lose or win, i want us to give it all we got. Just like we did in the play-offs towards PL.
Class gesture from Bielsa. Absolutely love this man, a true football purist and a legend in the game.
Bielsa is a manager who is convinced of fair play in his own way. His philosophy is so strong both on and off the pitch that he would rather lose than renounce to it. In Chile we learned he is the closest to a prophet. The things he did in here, victories and defeats in and out of the field, have been just right. It’s like he was Adam in dark. Someone’s saying to him how things must happen. Now he will Leeds to the premier league in the fashion he wants and we have yet not known what Leeds are about to do at the premier league.
Convinced of fair play? What by being fined for spying on other teams? stfu 😂
@@yourgay3226 everyone does that

When one man has more conviction than an entire stadium...you just don´t see that everyday...and the team agreeing to it shows the confidence and respect they had for Bielsa (and in the end they wouldn´t have caught the two top teams anyway)
Why was Terry mad?? Like gifting your friend £100 and they get angry you didn’t give £101.
What a great example Bielsa gave to his players and football club. He was doing great job ahead of LU and after this incident he became a legend at Elland Road. Respect Bielsa for this
As much as I want to praise them for fair play, one of the basics of football is to always play to the whistle. Villa switched off and Leeds scored. Ok great. That's what you get for assuming the game is going to stop instead of playing until the ref blows his whistle or the ball goes out of play. But mad respect to Bielsa for letting them score after that. I wonder how many other managers would've done the same.
Its like Di Canio refusing to score for West Ham agains Everton because the Everton keeper was injured, part of me thinks it was great sportsmanship but also injuries are part of the game and it would have been just bad luck for Everton if he had put the ball in the net.
Steve Veasey he wasn’t injured though
@@ollyford6104 Gerrard? He had a dislocated knee, how much more injured do you need somebody to be?
@@Veaseify The Everton keeper was genuinely and visibly injured so Di Canio was morally correct to not score. Here the Villa player wasn't injured in the real sense. If it's not a foul, Leeds scoring the goal is morally and legally correct. Sportsmanship by Di Canio as well as Bielsa but Bielsa's wasn't necessary.
no other managers would, 0 chances of that happening with anyone else but him
A very very very big respect to making this video clip looks like a cinema movie - brutal voice of the background, effects, dark filter, great stereo audio, I wish this video never ends - really appreciated. So now to Leeds, congratulations! MARCELO BIELSA!
Villa should have let Sheffield score the other day when they had a clear goal disallowed.
no we shouldnt have. watch the crystal palace game when we were robbed.
Na Aston Villa like to cry unfair but when the shoes on the other foot they play ignorant, for example this video showed Leeds play on because of the whistle situation now go check the stoke vs Aston villa games this season and you will see Aston Villa scored a similar goal aganist stoke and didn't care about the Stoke players complaints xD
@@Webby104 ungrateful team shows why you hould never spare sympathy in football because no matter how much at the time u protest saying that team would let them score in bizzare circumstances they stab you in the back. Its sad because there is no sportsmanship and you have to be ruthless to stand a chance in football its like there is no nice guys allowed
Villa don't have the balls to play fairly.
Then Sheffield should’ve let villa score earlier in the season when sharp kicked the ball out of our keepers hands and it went in? The other day was the only time villa have been on the nice side of a decision

Hmm. I'm watching this clip after watching clips of the Test which looks absolutely superb. This clip only solidifies my belief that football is the most trash sport ever invented.
I remember when biesla wasn’t a manager, just a coach and I’d sign him as one of my coaches in football manager because he was one of the best coaches you could have to improve your squad in training. Look at him now doing these amazing things. I feel so proud of him watching him grow.
Tears of happiness for my boy!
Bielsa is absolutely respectable! I have been watching Leeds and Liverpool since 2000. Am keen to see them compete in PL next year!
"If he didn't touch me I wouldn't have gone down"
1:20 Bamford gets a Villa player in a headlock and throws them to the ground
1:39 Bamford grabs Villa player by the neck
Exactly
🤣
He pulled the guy off Klich because he’d ripped the shirt off. He was pulling players off his own players.
There’s a dividing line between grabbing/pushing in football and making and slapping/punching etc, anything to the face. Just how it is. The Villa players instigated the melee, and the Villa player who was thrown to the ground stayed down like a bitch as well.
@@cockoffgewgle4993 You might want to re-watch the very clear footage of what happened. El Ghazi's hand never came near the face of Bamford, he didn't even slap or hit him. But Bamford did grab a Villa player by the neck twice and slammed one on the ground aggressively.
It's honestly baffling how people like you will completely ignore the proof that can be seen from the footage, extremely clearly. It shouldn't be even possible to think El Ghazi hit Bamford in the face since it never happened and we can clearly see he faked it.

It's up to the ref to stop the game. It really is as simple as that.
There wasn’t a good reason to stop the game. It got rowdy sure, but nothing worthy of calling off the match
@@thepigproductivity That's not what he's talking about. He's saying it's up to the ref to stop the game "play" so as the Leeds goal would've never happened in the first place. Play til the whistle is what everyone is taught, however there are times in a football match where players and refs are on different waves as to whether or not the game should be stopped to take care of an injury on the pitch.

Heard Messi asked his Board to make him the manager as he's very impressed by him . I've been watching him from a long time , I haven't seen his every game & May be around 30% but his style is very good & energetic . His system is Dynamic & Positional play is on point. That's what I see in Pep too , when his team plays. It's a treat & likewise biesla. I'm pretty pumped to see City vs Leeds just for the playstyle & how they both gonna go against each other .
I recommend everyone to watch the film Ojos Rojos (2010). It shows all the history of the Chile National Team shortly before Bielsa’s arrival in 2007, and how he transformed Chilean football. Furthermore, I would say that transformed Chilean society, specially considering that after he accepted the post of manager there were 3 major social breakdowns in 2011 (education), 2016 (pension system), and recently in 2019 the biggest one since Pinochet’s dictatorship (pension system again, and for the first time in Chile’s history, could be a new constitution written and edited only by citizens). It may sound exaggerated, but I think that rebellion shown in how to play football got extended beyond sportive aspects.

Fun Fact: Marcelo Bielsa couched Chilean Football selection for an entire generation of new football stars, including Vidal, Bravo, Sanchez, Medel, etc. that lead the new team to get excellent results in world cups, and after that 2 American Coups with an outstanding first in chilean history performance of a now mature team. Bielsa wasn't in the lead when they got the coups, but I can assure you that he was the man that changed chilean mentality of football, for good.
