I've said it before, and I'll say it again! I hope we get an entire "eight years trying to reach him and then another seven trying to keep him locked up" worth of Loomis' tapes!!!

These are incredible. Once Pleasence died. So did the series. Luckily we have these tapes to further the lore of Loomis

YES!!! THAT is what so many of us fans have known, but seemingly so few of the makers know, i.e. that without Loomis a real MAJOR piece of Halloween is missing. Without the great Donald Pleasance, there is no Michael Myers.

Keep in mind I am not a fan of Thorne Cult Trilogy; I actually despise Halloween 5 & 6 as I feel it wrecks what good came from The Return of Michael Myers. That said, I can almost see Hoffman's point...until I take that Trilogy in mind, particularly the scene in Halloween 4 when he sees Michael off back to Smith's Grove, almost as if he knows the inevitable outcome, and all he's been doing is gaslighting Loomis with cheap talk grounded in Rationality. In other words, Hoffman is a member of The Cult of Thorne.
