If you’re gonna react to mono please make sure that you’re listening to the entire mixtape at once. When you listen to the entire thing at one go it’s gonna make more sense. If you react to individual songs you might get confused.
I can't wait for you guys to react to the whole "Mono" mixtape! each song is just art and for me is his best mixtape so far ( since he has the other one) personally I am a big fan of rude and straight fire bars rap but since I meet BTS and RM specially he make me think twice and I find a new appreciation for rap and hip-hop and make me love the slow, lyrical, deep meaningful rap style...only him and BTS can do this lol, thanks LC and Fredo for the reaction and the love to this gem!
Both of RM's mixtapes-- RM and Mono, are masterpieces. Once you give it a listen, you will see how he has evolved both as a musician and as a person. He is called the 'philosopher who raps' for a reason. Seeing people appreciate his mind and lyrics is so satisfying! I hope you continue dig deeper into his mixtape.

Namjoon has so much depth to him. His mind is just amazing. I wish people would actually give him a GOOD DEEP listen and see his growth through his music. I wish people would take the TIME to actually dissect his lyrics the way we Armys do.

RM (2015) and mono (2018) are completely different from each other but both are really good, you can tell RM always put his soul in everything he does
Moonchild is a personal favourite. As someone who works nights on my passion whilst holding down the day job, I found this song comforting. I feel tired to start sometimes after a long day, but when RM says ' when moon rise, its your time to shine' , I feel energised.

Like you really have to listen to rm's albums in order from starts beginning it's a work of art. it's what album is supposed to be an artist piece from beginning to end I can't wait for the day when y'all here Forever Rain man it will change your whole perspective.
This song f with my mind. You read lyrics and you understand what he is saying at that moment. His word are so timing pact you don't have time really think about impact of those words in real time. You hear a line and you get drawn to one particular line and keep thinking about it and then realize "Shit, song is over" and you didn't heard anything after that line. But you still left with basic rightness of what he is saying and a feel of that you got value out of this song.
This song is a mind trap. Ech line able to evoke so much thoughts afterwards. I could have written a whole paper in Uni about this song lyrics alone.
And it is timeless piece of music out here. Time passes and everytime i see these lyrics my thoughts about his thoughts gets new layers, opens new trains of thoughts. Because i change and experience things and it gets even more substantial to me. So in my mind this song right now has maybe 50 pages long of context and emotions. In retrospect combined after every listen i spent maybe 7-8 hours just thinking about this song lyrics. And even now i still find something new in this song and it provoke new trains of thoughts about subjects he mentions. Some songs are like that, never getting old and stale always able to keep its value intact, always gives you something to think about.

the fact that MONO is my favorite mixtape out of the others I don’t know I feel so attached to it .. it shows how he can be so diverse ..his first mixtape was so different heavy rapping and all and the mono so calm and beautiful every song hits different..
