Yes, that version with Jinkook is actually a mash-up between First Love and So Far Away (so it doesn't include the guitar solo at the end). Yoongi produced that I believe for FESTA.
Feeling you on this one. My bias flip flopping game two years ago came to a sudden end after I listened to his AgustD mix tape and particularly this song. It made me feel things I have never felt before through music. "So far away" is my personal ultimate queen that always comes with full body shivers and teary eyes. I treasure this man and his artistic courage and transparent vulnerability like no other in the whole of universe.

This song is like a mantra. Sometimes i feel like after first verse he is projecting chorus to audience, but after second verse sometimes i feel like he is talking to himself here. He describing that bad situation he is in, where no one is supporting his dreams, where his dream seem so for away from achievement it seems impossible. He described feeling very lonely, alienated and rejected by the world to the point he wants world to disappear. Himself to disappear. Really what he is describing sounds like person mental state before suicide to me. So when chorus comes after that verse it feels like he telling himself to hang in there and dream, convincing and wishing that his own efforts and hard work eventually would end with prosperity. BTW He when he released his second mixtape he said before starting it he gone back to listen to his first one. And he didn't liked how it reminded him how miserable he was back then. He almost never listen to it himself.

putting yoongi or BTS just in the "khip hop" or "kpop" category doesn't sit right with me, I'm not talking just about you guys but other people who discovered bts. kpop it's just a category that people put the guys to kinda give them a place but like "yes they're good but not like my Americans artists so they're better just in the kpop category" BTS is beyond kpop in general. Agust D in this specific moment, is beyond Americans fake rappers that just know how to put autotune and call it a song. BTS is not the top of KPOP but the whole music industry itself.

When Suga was young, all he wanted was to be a rapper but his parents dissapproved. His mother tore up his lyrics. For a while he threw away his hopes and focused on school like they wanted. Because of this he felt like he was the only one working without a dream and he fell into deep depression. Eventually, he went back to music and it turned his life around. Here he talks about that, about it's ok for people to not have a dream. Whether it was taken away or because they haven't found their's yet. He's wishing them the best and encouraging them to stay strong because they will also find their truth Eventually.

This song is like a mantra. Sometimes i feel like after first verse he is projecting chorus to audience, but after second verse sometimes i feel like he is talking to himself here. He describing that bad situation he is in, where no one is supporting his dreams, where his dream seem so for away from achievement it seems impossible. He described feeling very lonely, alienated and rejected by the world to the point he wants world to disappear. Himself to disappear. Really what he is describing sounds like person mental state before suicide to me. So when chorus comes after that verse it feels like he telling himself to hang in there and dream, convincing and wishing that his own efforts and hard work eventually would end with prosperity.
BTW He when he released his second mixtape he said before starting it he gone back to listen to his first one. And he didn't liked how it reminded him how miserable he was back then. He almost never listen to it himself.

putting yoongi or BTS just in the "khip hop" or "kpop" category doesn't sit right with me, I'm not talking just about you guys but other people who discovered bts. kpop it's just a category that people put the guys to kinda give them a place but like "yes they're good but not like my Americans artists so they're better just in the kpop category" BTS is beyond kpop in general. Agust D in this specific moment, is beyond Americans fake rappers that just know how to put autotune and call it a song. BTS is not the top of KPOP but the whole music industry itself.
They even outsold kpop... Like what snoop dogg said, rappers nowadays put in some autotune, reuse the same beat and melody for the whole song and call it a day. We even have so called “rappers” that can’t even WRITE their own sht. You call that hip hop and rappers? I call bullshit.
People obsess over putting BTS in a category or other k acts into “kpop.”
BTS themselves have said it time and time again kpop isn’t a genre, its more of an industry. So shoving k acts into kpop is bullshit. The same way Day6 isn’t kpop, TigerJK and other k acts aren’t kpop.

When Suga was young, all he wanted was to be a rapper but his parents dissapproved. His mother tore up his lyrics. For a while he threw away his hopes and focused on school like they wanted. Because of this he felt like he was the only one working without a dream and he fell into deep depression. Eventually, he went back to music and it turned his life around. Here he talks about that, about it's ok for people to not have a dream. Whether it was taken away or because they haven't found their's yet. He's wishing them the best and encouraging them to stay strong because they will also find their truth Eventually.
