    Second thing is, although I can do some math, but when I have something given on metric units it gives me better understanding and allows to keep up with the video.
    I don't expect you to say everything, just write the needed value in metric units as well. Don't know how many "metric followers" you have, but I think it would be helpful.

      @787brx8 5 лет назад +4

      @@mitchellsteindler My prototype reduces knock and makes combustion engines more efficient. It allows the ignition timing to run at A much more advanced setting.
      My modified lawnmower with A 0.2 of A gallon tank will mow for about four hours. At $3.00 A gallon it costs around 15 cents an hour to run.
      My brother's electric lawnmower runs for about 45 minutes per charge. It costs more than 30 cents per charge.
      So once an engine is modified with my prototype it can run at A much higher efficiency level. It is due to bringing the maximum cylinder pressure closer to TDC.
      A short video on my page shows A test run at the maximum ignition advance setting for the car. Most cars would spit out parts if they tried to match the ignition timing setting and put the pedal to the metal.

    The Mazdaspeed Miata (2004-2005) came with an OEM catch can. It actually causes the issue that the GT500 is trying to resolve. In aggressive cornering oil can go up the catch can drain and end up coating the intake all the way through the intercooler. Installing a check valve in the drain tube is a common mod to fix the issue.

    Jason, Great review. I am a mechanical engineer (PE) and just recently found your channel. I really enjoy your candid, and fair engineering explanations. I have to believe traction is a real problem with this much power. Did you ask the Ford engineers about an all wheel drive in the future?

    You know as a kid in 2009, when I saw the C6 ZR1 getting thrown down the test track by motor trend, I genuinely thought I was clearly witnessing the last hoorah of extremely excessive ICE's. I was wrong, obviously. I can only imagine an machine like this will have a crazy service schedule. Crazy expensive.

    I've always been a GM guy in years past, but damn if I wouldn't give my money to buy this! I'm finally at the point in life where I can buy a higher end sports car. Not mid-life but creeping up there year to year. Hope the interior is stepped up from a base Mustang, because if it is, then this car may be a higher consideration for me than the Cayman 718!
    Way to go Ford!

    I like virtually everything about this new Mustang, excluding the weight. It is bloated, for sure. Just as there's no replacement for displacement (powerband-wise), there's no substitution for light weight (chassis dynamics and overall performance-wise).

      Good call. This car should produce around 0.1 smiles per gallon, cause hey the driver will always be smiling. This however drops off significantly after it breaks down as of course it will. But at least the fuel economy will return once it becomes faulty.

    I'm ok with the extra overdriven gears. I dont like super close ratio transmissions on really high hp cars, because you end up barking through each gear so fast. The amount of shifting gets a little ridiculous. Next thing you know you're buzzing along at 150mph wishing you had a higher gear to lower the RPMs a little.
