In this Longplay/Walkthrough video, i'm playing and showing a thorough and detailed guide about how to complete the Sega Genesis version of Streets of Rage [USA] by playing as Adam Hunter from the beginning to the very end on the Hardest difficulty setting.

By the end of round 7, there is a pile of 48 dead thugs and thugettes smashed on the pavement at the foot of the building. Musta been a hell of a clean up. Great longplay with Adam. He is only playable in the first Streets of Rage, so this is his chance to shine!

This is a cheat. Punks in yellow only give cart when aligned with the player character. At the moment 17:00 of the video the women do not hit Adam with the whip. Cheat sure
Adam's one of the best black characters in gaming history, hands down! ^^

You can actually insta kill a normal enemy with Adam. You have to do the 3 hit combo to make sure that the enemy gets sent high. Before their feet touch the ground in a split second do the 4th move of his combo. If you do it correctly the enemy will clip into the ground and die instantly
If they make a movie for this game I wanna play as Hunter
those twins on the boat were always the bane of existence for me...they made me rage quit when i first played this series. i can beat them now but i originally remember hating the most much and it was even worse when they came back in SoR 3 and i was like "oh fu%$ this...really...of all the bosses"

Everybody is gangster until the Boss music starts playing.
The enemies only managed to get 2 attacks in on you, both throws that you could safely land. Impressive!
Question: to get 100,000 players left bonus, do you have to do a perfect run, or only take no damage against Mr. X?

Yes, it sure took a lot of time to practice and study the whole game before making this Walkthrough / Longplay video. I also had to be very patient. Countless runs were ruined while making a No Damage run Longplay.

I absolutely didn't use any cheats, save states or tools while making this Longplay / Walkthrough video.
And I also did not rewinded the whole game or spliced the stages together.
As I mentioned in my previous comment above, it sure took a lot of time to practice and study the whole game before making this Walkthrough / Longplay video. I also had to be very patient. Countless runs were ruined while making a No Damage run Longplay.

If you get thrown (31:34 for example) press and hold "Up + C" in air to land on your feet and take no damage. A lot of Players know this Landing trick.

That is not a cheat or hack.
If you get thrown (31:34 for example) press and hold "Up + C" in air to safely land on your feet and take no damage. A lot of Players know this "Landing Trick".
