Every Submersible is great BUT if there’s one rule in the world of Panerai it’s NO WHITE DIALS. Black is fine, blue, anthracite, Tabasco anything is great….but not white…ever. If you really must have it then buy used and for a good price. I’d be happy to have one myself but again, I’d be looking for substantial discount.
@@soundsoserious interesting - I'm new to the world of panerai so just considering what to go for. Didn't realise white dials were a no go ! Would love one of the older domed crystal references e.g. a 233 but the new models seem to all have flat crystals and I don't want to go used market
@@rajmehta6210 I was half joking but generally white dials are frowned upon. An exception might be the Luna Rossa watches which look really nice. 233 is a classic and I made a video about it, check it out!
I think some newer models might still have it? I used to be up to date on Panerai releases but over the last few years they have put it way too many watches to keep up.
Love these watches! Do you still own them? How are the movements?
Thank you so much! Movements are rock solid; alas all of them were moved on to loving homes awhile ago. Such is the #fliplife
Any views on the submersible 1226 ?

@@soundsoserious any idea why they got rid of the lovely domed crystals? Cost perhaps?
