Aren't summoners war and raid shadow legends the same thing essentially? And I can say that since I've played both of them.
The most unrealistic thing about this is students still going to school after being told they can stay home

Kinda sounds like the kids had some 'rona lockdown experience. It's the only possible explaination to go back to a reality bending school that is closed down.

The restriction makes it exciting.
Theory: 9 of the cheerleaders cause the death of the 10th and buried her under the pool in the basement. But, of course, she wasnt actually dead. In fact, she bonds with an anomalis space under the school. This causes her spirit, perhaps her living body, to "wander". She returns and kills the nine cheerleaders, and they too begin to wander, their identities lost to the anomaly
I like this idea but what if the 10th girl offed the other 9 girls and made it look like a s*icide, hence them being seen hanging, and then the 10th girl offed herself underground under the basement so she wouldn’t get caught

its a bit difficult to summarize, and this video omits some bits compared to the article, but this is about what i think happened:
the tenth girl got pregnant, which was a massive scandal in the small and very religious Salvation. the other 9 cheerleaders stopped being friends with the 10th, started pretending they do not recognize her, like she was faceless. they probably antagonized her further, maybe even set fire to her house. in the end the tenth girl went to the pool, where she gave birth and drowned the baby. then, she was taken by the anomaly, even deeper into the repeating schools than the other 9 cheerleaders.
in the interview in the original article, the lady mentions that the 10th girl used the word 'hello' in a strange manner (the interviewed lady does it herself), so either the drowned child was a reality bender, and the black humanoid saying "hello" is it attempting to interact with others, or its a sort-of reflection of the dead child caused by the anomaly

The way I see it, and try to make sense of it, is the 10th cheerleader's child was a reality bender, how that happened isn't really important, maybe it has something to do with Syncopy showing up briefly. Anyway, the mother gives birth, but someone, possibly the one of the other cheerleaders, decided to drown the child (possibly in the pool), and either the mother killed herself in grief, after trying and failing to find the baby's body, or was killed. Thing was, baby might be dead but it still had power. They had some limited understanding of reality, more specifically the thoughts and feelings of the townsfolk surrounding them and their mother. At first it simply attacked the cheerleaders, causing them to die in the same way their mother did. But as time went on it, deteriorated, went crazier than it probably already was. I think it was somehow buried in the school somewhere, that's why the anomalies centered around it. Also why the mother's ghost, as well as the cheerleaders, or possibly just projections with their images, kept showing up around the school. As time went on the baby started sinking to some lower level of reality until it was lost there, before it was gone, it escalated it's "attacks" on the town. This is what the poem on the arch is about, it's the lost "thing" that a "a quiet madness made".

The part that scares me the most about this video is how Buck mentions that students *attend school even when the principal explicitly said that it was closed for the day.* If we’re capable of committing, who knows what we’re capable of doing next!

The theory from what I got is that it's all caused by a reality bender child whose mother was a student or one of the cheerleaders that seemed to be possibly a reality bender herself and something happened to her that caused the creepy insanity to the school and town itself

Damn...and I thought my school was scary. A little girl passed away on school grounds from a heart condition. It was really sad. They put up a memorial stone with a plaque engraved with her birth date, her death date, her first name which was Mary, and an exerpt from "Oh the Places You'll Go" which was new at the time of her passing. Since then students, teachers, and other staff have sworn they've seen her on the playground and in the 1st grade classroom. I never saw her, but had friends and teachers who swear they have. My friend actually got suspended for getting caught playing Bloody Mary in the bathroom with other kids. The principal was livid and held an assembly addressing the disrespect of playing the game....during the assembly we lost power and several students claimed to have seen her on the stage just before the lights cut. I saw this weird white fog, but nothing discernible. It's been more than a decade since I left that elementary school, and I'm still a skeptic. Gotta admit though, the whole thing was pretty creepy.
