@_justin_joe first off, amazing videos here, highly enjoying watching your content! Excited to try some of these techniques myself.
FYI -- when sequentially loading in samples from a directory, you can just repeatedly hit the Right arrow key on the Octatrack instead of having to alternate hitting the Down and Yes keys. It's a bit easier and faster!

where is the trick? if i hold down the trigger and turn level, it is adjusting the level and not scrolling the slots?
Hmmm… strange is not working. Are you placing the trigger before holding it down and turning the level knob?
can i use the slot triggers to load?
To load to a track? If so, yes.
If i press the slot triger i get the sound but i do not get located in the slot list i have to scroll manually., this is not what i want.@@_justin_joe
how did you make it so the hi hat doesnt cut off the other samples?
Hmmm. I think I had the hats on a different track since each track is monophonic in polyphony
