    Cutting on the baseplate can (not must) damage the plate over time. Also the risk of fire is higher. This is why you have that back plate with the "rips". Thats meant for cutting.

    You always do such a great job with your videos. I do have a stupid question though. You only engraved one side of the earrings. Is there a reason for only one side?

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  7 месяцев назад

      Oh my goodness, I never even thought of engraving on both sides😆 That would be so awesome. I will give it a try. As long as I can line it back. up well, it should turn out great. Thank you so much for your kind words!

      I think if you were using a P2 it would be pretty easy to line up, especially using the animal print of course with the helmet you would have to reverse the image. By the way, I really liked your idea about using the white paper for the framing on the F1. Sometimes it can be almost impossible to see the frame even if it is turned up all the way. Anyway, have a great night.

      @@terrydemie I think it would be pretty easy on the P2 also. Thanks again for the idea.

      Of the non-clear acrylics, it’s my favorite one to engrave on😃

    Mine leaves burn marks and some melted acrylic on the same settings when cutting😢😢

      Oh no! I hope you find some great settings for your acrylic. I play around with small cuts to dial in settings.
