I just opened mine yesterday and thought it was supposed to be removed because it wasn’t nicely applied, but it doesn’t remove cleanly. It started ripping. I hate how it looks now.
Yes I got a separate sample pack too from xTool. Good to hear yours has arrived, with the label, if that happened to me I’d get a cloth dampen it, make sure nothing is plugged in and then put the ringed out cloth on the label and leave it for a couple of hours and then see if the label then comes off easier once the moisture from the cloth has moistened the label

Did you cut out the heart on your chopping board with the F1?
I didn’t make this chopping board no, it was a gift, the F1 wouldn’t cut that depth, I would use this: www.xtool.com/products/xtool-p2-55w-co2-laser-cutter?ref=zZ1xJxidcQmE7h&
Did that little gold necklace come with the sample materials with the machine? Did you end up leaving or removing that sticker off the side of the cover? I just opened mine yesterday and thought it was supposed to be removed because it wasn’t nicely applied, but it doesn’t remove cleanly. It started ripping. I hate how it looks now.
Yes I got a separate sample pack too from xTool. Good to hear yours has arrived, with the label, if that happened to me I’d get a cloth dampen it, make sure nothing is plugged in and then put the ringed out cloth on the label and leave it for a couple of hours and then see if the label then comes off easier once the moisture from the cloth has moistened the label
@@RedRockingBird thanks! I was able to go slowly from the other ends and remove it cleanly. Honestly, I wish it was just a little smaller and applied neatly, so that it could just stay on the machine. Otherwise it makes an expensive machine look cheap. :)
@@Martina1192 that is so strange that it was not applied properly, the one on mine is straight so I never thought to remove it, I hope you are happy with your F1 now, I totally know what you mean as that would bug me too ❤️
Can i engraved zip ties with the xtools? I would like to add names to zip ties with laser
Silicone ones yes, but anything made of plastics cannot be engraved, do not laser anything that gives off harmful gases like PVC
Can it cut brass please ???
It doesn’t cut metal/brass no
Is it suitable for engraving pictures on leaves?😢

I do need to do some gold yes, I have the F1 ultra arriving soon and will be doing lots more on that, thanks
What’s the laptop/tablet you’re using?

Would this work with 18ct Solid gold ???

Have you ever tried marking Chrome with the F1?
On metal do you think the marking would be hardwearing ? I only want to mark mostly metal but i can't afford a fiber laser at the moment. thanks
I’ve not tried chrome but should work well, I’d say hardwearing yes but i don’t know your purpose, these are still pretty expensive uk.xtool.com/products/xtool-f1?ref=zZ1xJxidcQmE7h&
Can the F1 engrave on soap?
I think it has to be the waxy variety of soap, otherwise it’ll just melt it and no design will show I think, I’ll have to test some, thanks
@@RedRockingBird one of my fellow crafters makes soaps with olive oil and I thought I’d engrave on them.
@@AcryliWoodDesigns that would be wonderful if you could, I too have a friend that makes soaps so I’ve been meaning to make it happen too. Best of luck and thanks for watching
I have the F1 also and even with the AP, I still smell burning on metal and wood. Not too much but enough to irritate my eyes.
How strange, it makes a huge difference though surely? As without it it’s unbearable. I just notice the smell when I can’t close the hood down fully due to larger pieces, but when closed works a treat. After a while the filters do need changing
What is AP?
@@AcryliWoodDesigns sorry the air purifier
Thanks for the info, I’ve now cancelled my order as, although it might do the job, I’d rather not risk my health doing so. It’d be like taking a Covid vaccine, I’d rather not kill myself 😅
Thanks for the dodge
It will laser anything but always need to make sure it’s safe 👍 with the gases that can be released
