That's how an ancient masters had been doing their work with no electricity and modern instruments. Proud of you man. I work with a wood lathe a long time but this is the first time I've seen that kind of lathe

Thanks it working great , solved the squeaky noise by loosening the “dead” center ( the bolt to the right) a bit.
