That was an interesting interview. I saw CD in 92 in Camden underworld and Valor was on top form. There were still people in the crowd shouting out "Bring back Rozz" though. lol.
lol....same in Montreal....the show lasted about 30 minutes, singers were arging together on the stage,yeah....we miss Rozz Williams...
Thanks for the interview, very much enjoyed it 🖤
i like Valor always in interwiews, and of course his music and i love Rozz i felt really sad when he past away.
That was three decades ago now. yes it's sad, but I think it's about time people moved on.
Valor's a likeable presence. I think if Rozz were still alive, they'd have done another album together.
Rozz hated Valor after he left the band. How would they work together if Valor continued touring with Rozz' bands name?
@@Amp661 I don't know, my pagan god friend.
I suppose anything's possible. If things had happened differently, or had more time to heal bad feelings, over time...who knows?!
I love Rozz. But I've always been more into Valor's Christian Death. He's a great artist. ❤ Valor, you are the Best!
Fantastic love CD and I love Valor xxx
Nice interview.
The fact that people still believe in the goth drama like Valor vs Rozz which had nothing to do with anyone. Let it go and move on already!
I know right.
@@Based_Stuhlinger goth beef is lame af
@@reanimate21People can't respect Valor's talent as a multi-instrumentalist. Rozz was a good lyricist, but I found his excessive artsy/glam appraoch grating, I prefer the darker approach of valor. I always respect people much more when they can perform as a musician and handle vocal/lyrical duties at the same time.
@@Based_Stuhlinger, i saw Christian death twice with val& both shows few songs in their laptop crashed& lost backing tracks. Both times promoter had to come on stage& apologize- val didn't have the decency to come back on stage& apologize for technical issues. Playing in punk bands most of my life-backing tracks crash,so be it still have 3 musicians on stage- show must go on!!
Well every live performance I've seen of him has been near perfect but ok!@@davidschiaffojr8888
your song titles are all off on youtube do you know this valor? all songs from "all the love all the hate" are off? " we fall like love" is titled "love don't let let me down"?.its like that for every song.
Ask him why his fans don't buy any of his merchandise and bootleg most of his recordings.
That's got to be the dumbest thing I've heard someone say about him. Go ask Season of Mist records. I did merch for them for a week and we sold shit tons. You sound incredibly ignorant making comments like that.
🤣🤣
Val is based! Nice to hear someone not controlled with Hollywood bullshit.
His accent is strange. Almost like New York in a large way, but some of his words, he pronounces with a British sounding accent. Of course i don't know where he's originally from, so if someone wants to Enlighten me lol.
mainly a Maine/New England accent, I think
I've read he was born in Australia? But I don't know if that's true.
He sounds more english to me, I don't hear much of an american twang.
He was born in Australia. His accent is a pretty distinct mix.
I bet Valor was friends with Jello Biafra.
I asked him that and he does indeed know Jello.
@@megmcguigan3857 very cool. I figured since they were all in California and the punk/post punk thing happening, etc.
@@jasonegeland1446 There was a lot of intermixing of punk/deathrock musicians between LA and San Francisco. Valor actually took a car ride with Jello one time from LA to San Francisco in the early 80's.
@@megmcguigan3857 Very cool. I bet that was an interesting trip for them! Yeah, I think of the Screamers, X, and Chrome in addition to Dead Kennedys and Christian Death. Lot of cool talents from those days.
If Valor knew Al from Ministry I'd be mind blown, I know Jello and Al are obviously good friends.
Is Valor on his PJ’s?? 😂
I don't like valor christian death died when rozz left
OH here we go. Can't get through one damn video without someone saying some stupid shit like this.
There are 3 Xstian deaths. 1. Rozz 2. Rozz plus Pompeii 99 aka the rest of the band post first albiäum and 3. Valor who is Still going 40 years later. PS Rozz is dead god rest his soul . So... Get over it
Rozz has been gone since '98, deal with it and grow up.
Ashes. Catastrophe Ballet. Wind Kissed Pictures. Still listening after 35 years.
Valor is just riding on the coat tails of what other people created. Valor never created anything original or anything of his own that is successful. He still basks under the Christian Death name
