This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
The grinder is ceramic with significant pressure applied. When moving (grinding) its easy to adjust, when stationary, the pressure can be so great it can break the knobs/gears that allow adjustment.
I just bought my machine, and it works well but the only issue is the light of the coffee bottom that is off. All the lights work great, but it seems like this light was not installed properly. Unfortunately, I'm returning the machine since it is not fair that it cost a lot of money and it came defective
Hi, thanks for your comment. The coffee quantity button on the 4300 LatteGo allows you to adjust the volume of coffee that’ll be brewed. It doesn’t change the amount of coffee grounds used but rather the amount of water that flows through the coffee, which in turn affects the strength and taste of your drink. For a stronger cup, you’d reduce the water volume, and for a milder taste, you’d increase it. This feature provides you with the flexibility to personalize your coffee experience to your preference. For more detailed instructions on personalizing your drinks, you may refer to the user manual provided with your machine or visit our support page.
Thanks for your reply. Of course, you’re welcome 😊. We're happy to hear that our response was helpful to you! If you have any further questions or need additional clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your satisfaction is our top priority and we hope you continue to enjoy your product.

Manual says to make at least 100 drinks before adjusting the grinder settings. RUclipsrs say to make 10-20 drinks for the machine to settle and then adjust grinder as needed. Pucks are watery and wondering if I really need to wait until 100 drinks to change the setting? I don’t want wait until after the warranty expires to find out it’s not making espresso correctly.
Hi Ross, thanks for your comment. We'll be happy to help you out on this matter. Can you please confirm your machine model number, so that we can provide specific advice? Thank you!
Hi Daniel, thanks for reaching out. Smoke coming from your espresso machine is not normal, so we advise you to refrain from using the machine for now. Please send us a private message sharing your country of residence and the model number of your LatteGo so we can assist you further. Hope to speak to you soon!
I just bought the this model but the puck is really watery I mean everything is smashed and looks melted with water. I set up grinder most fine one which is #1, more than 10 times tried, but it is same. Do you have an idea?
What beans are you using? Must be medium or lighter roast beans. You didn't use a dark roast did you? Black oily beans will never work correctly on any super automatic... literally none. Also, instructions state NOT to adjust grinder for at least 100 cups of coffee. You went straight to the finest, which provides the least grounds, then wondered why its watery? If its watery, go course, not fine. Sounds like you put the grinder so close together, its not really filling the puck at all. All kinds of red flags should have gone off in your head saying going to #1 can't be right.
@@trevorwesterdahl6245 Yea, it is medium roast; blue bottle bold one. First, I thought machine will work perfectly even at the first time, but it was not. So I google it, and I found watery pucks has usually made with coarse grind and I switched the finest grind setting right away..(skipping the manual, that was my fault). Anyway, eventually I’d like to find the solution and do you have any idea for that?
Hi Sammie. We're sorry to hear about that! In this case, it could be multiple things. Could you have a look at these tips right here: to.philips/60533WDvb. If those did not help, feel free to get back to us, and we'll have another look at it. :)
Grind size setting seems to me as an unfinished design. Having to brew an espresso to change the grind size doesn't seem right, and why do I need to brew multiple espressos to rotate the knob multiple notches? (If you mean by "one notch at a time" "one notch per grind size change procedure". That's not clear.)(4340/70)
The grinder is ceramic with significant pressure applied. When moving (grinding) its easy to adjust, when stationary, the pressure can be so great it can break the knobs/gears that allow adjustment. They didn't say adjust one notch at a time, they stated you should make 2-3 cups before confirming its adjusted correctly. To make it adjustable, when not running, would likely add $200-$400. Personally, for something you rarely adjust, would rather waste a couple of cups of coffee than add the extra cost.
It seems I didn’t have the test strips in the box.. so now what? Put off using my new machine that came 4 days late via FedEx and order these strips? Ugh

Google the water hardness for your city and guesstimate. If you have super soft water, set it to 0 or 1 until you can get your test strips. It's not critical to the use of the machine, it's only for a descaling timer.
I just wish the hot water button was dedicated. I noticed I use it the most and perhaps my favorite feature. Hiding it with more drinks was not a smart move.
Hello, thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue with your 4300 lattego espresso machine. Ants can be attracted to the sugar and milk residues in the machine, so it is important to clean it thoroughly after each use. Please follow the instructions in the user manual to remove and rinse the parts of the machine that come into contact with milk, such as the milk container, the tube, and the frother. You can also use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the machine and the drip tray. We hope this helps you solve the problem and enjoy your coffee. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again via social media @Philips. We are always happy to assist you.

Hi there, thanks for your message. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your LatteGo. How is this a super automatic machine when I have so far watched 20 so videos and flushed down 50 cups of coffee while playing with the settings trying to get to one good cup of authentic expresso?
Hi Sana, we're sorry to hear about this. Could you elaborate on what is going wrong? That way we can try to help you out and have a look at it for you. Thanks in advance!
After a lot of experimenting I realised that the machine is making fine expresso and coffee. Its the frother which is making watery froths and diluting my milk beverages. How can I resolve this?
For reference, I used good quality whole milk from the fridge and also tried a combo of whole milk and coffee creamer made with natural ingredients. Similar results in froth quality for both
Thanks for getting back to us, Sana. The milk you're using sounds perfectly fine, so we find it quite strange that it is not being frothed properly. We'd love to take a closer look at the issue, so can you please send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter when possible? Thank you and hope to speak to you soon!
This video shows a full big glass when brewing Lattes. I'm just getting a very small cup. Like may be 100ml or so. Be it cappuccino or Latte. It extends to every other drink I'm trying. When I tried using ground coffee the unit just stopped and displayed the notification "cancelling". What is wrong with this machine? it is a brand new unit.

Why should we set the grinding size while griding? I do not understand the logic behind that necessity? Does it really creat huge difference?

While making coffee, do we keep the aqua clean filter inside the water???
Can someone explain the coffe quantity button? Is it how much water it mixes with or will it actually affect the amount of coffee used?
