    I've got 2 of these in a garden building, one for a kitchen sink and other in the bathroom basin. I've had them for about 1 year and not had any problems with them. I did notice they are fitted with 10amp fuses. If they do develop a fault, I'd just buy another one. they are not expensive to buy.

      This one I have is still going as well just like the day I got it. Thanks for you comment.

    I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with the electric cable almost in the Water 💦

      No different to an electric shower. The danger is its cheap Chinese.

      So how does it work for you the electric hot water heater. I want to get one but seen videos of holes in the back of them when they get too hot so I was just wondering how is yours is doing

    I had installed 3 such electric taps/showers at home. But after 1-2 years they all started leaking water into the electronic compartment, creating a very slight short-circut. I won't trigger the home safety switch to turno off, nor create any sparks, but if you touch the the tap - you can feel a slight tingling. And also water drips out of this compartment on the floor. There is a small rubber button that connects the water pipe with the electronic compartment and is supposed to push an electric switch and seal the hole at the same time. But it looks like after 1-2 years this rubber becomes less elastic and doesn't do the sealing properly.

    Can I leave the mains water pressure connected all the time or should I add an inline tap ? Can it handle the mains pressure? Please

    • @TEKNOFIED
      @TEKNOFIED  2 месяца назад

      At the end of the day it's up to you and how much pressure your mains have. I have the mains connected all the time and it's worked well. I am still using it. I thought it would have stopped by now but it still works like the day I installed it.

    Thank you for sharing. It would be even better if you quickly showed your setup meaning the hit water tank and pump and power source. Can't understand if you said the name of the faucet.

    • @TEKNOFIED
      @TEKNOFIED  Год назад +1

      There is no Hot Water Tank, The faucet makes the hot water as you use it. It's not instant hot water, it takes a little while to get hot.
      There is no pump. The power source is you normal 10Amp wall plug but I recommend using a 15Amp wall plug. The fuse keeps tripping to OFF when I use the faucet for a long time. There is no name on the faucet. Thank You

    how do one connect it

    • @TEKNOFIED
      @TEKNOFIED  9 месяцев назад +1

      They do come with instructions. Basically you connect the Faucet water line your connection. Sometimes you may need to get creative but if you have a normal connection it will screw right on. And then plug it in. Thanks for you comment.

    What do you do just plug it in a wall outlet?

    • @TEKNOFIED
      @TEKNOFIED  4 месяца назад

      Yes directly to the wall outlet. Not into a power board as it draws to much load.

    cant believe your messing with the power connection so close to the water and i have one hard wired it didnt come with a plug as standard on a side not and reason i write this as just been to my shed to find my spout is hanging in the sink after i can only assume the internals somehow malfunctioned after installing around 4 months ago and never really used it but is now dead presumedly shorted out causing the element to heat up and melt the body making the spout droop forward 90 degrees the lever was still in the off position and allthoght the water is turned off at source no one has touched this atall and appears to have melted unless the frost has done this but garage is well insulated and not that cold inside so doubt that maybe just cheap chinease rubbish but beware ! make sure its hard wired and fused of course

      Thanks for the concern but I was well aware of how close I was and what I was doing.
      I have been using the faucet at least 20 times a day for the pass 7 months and it still works the same as the day I installed it. I am actually very happy with it.
