Excellent VR CW! Thank you so much. The Papoose is one of my favourite .22's of all time. I first saw them in the early 80's when a friend bought one and showed it to me. I was young and into AR15's back then so I never got one. Years later I realized the "error of my ways" by forsaking this little .22 takedown and I finally got one. I shoot mine a few times a year at least. It's reliable, accurate, lightweight and supposedly it floats when in the case due to the foam, although I have never tested it. CW what is the barrel thickness under the sight where the elevation screw is and then the same distance back from the slot where it mounts is there a significant change in barrel thickness ?
I got one when they first came out. Shot well enough, but couldn't get used to the lack of a forend. Kids didn't care for it much either. So it went down the road. But it is a sweet setup. 😁👍🦶🪶🇺🇸
I have one of the marlins years ago, I wish I wouldn't have got rid of it.

That’s a nicely organized kit! I have a couple of those catch-22 dispensers. They’re handy for taking bulk ammo to the range. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
