- Do you panic while watching people crawling through a claustrophobic tight cave? Then this video might not be for you! 12 minutes of pure squeezing through the tightest passages southern Germany has to offer!
The cave with its 170m is one of the most exciting little holes I know in this region. Although it's quite short I defintitely don't recommend it for unexpierenced cavers, cause threre are many super tight squeezes to get through, some of them so tight that you can't even turn your head or breath fully-in! Already at the beginning you have to crawl through water which makes wearing a proper weatsuit necessary!! If you don't wear one it can mean your death, a rescue mission out of this hole is not likely to be successful!
At the end of the cave we had a little surprise;)

The thing that really pushes the stress over the line for me is the water, like if you slip and fall sideways with your face in the water and get stuck.

I wouldn’t be able to do this. After a little ways through I would be ready to go and probably start freaking out. It’s not like you can just get up and walk away. You have to crawl and squeeze your way through to exit. I love watching these videos though for some odd reason. 😂
The worst part for me would be knowing there is someone blocking my way behind me and in front of me. Dear Lord, if I were in the middle… I can’t imagine being between two people in a cave.

@@Aimee-ke8ru it is the last way I'd ever want to die, but it was 100% his fault, he wedged himself into a straight down hole that he wasn't familiar with. So unless you really are trying you wouldn't die while caving. (Theres still nothing that could ever get me into a tight cave tho)

Yeah, my brain are trolling with me. After getting claustro even from looking the dead cases of people getting stuck in caves. It still tells me to watch this kind of youtube’s dark side of the road.
Who were the first people to explore these caves? It's crazy to me that someone would decide to squeeze through not knowing what's on the other side.

I mean the cave is gonna open up eventually and if it dead-ends you can just go back the way you came. Not saying it isn’t admirable but it’s not as horrifying as ppl imagine

J Rod when I was little, I got those nightmares because I was an idiot and slept face first on my pillow, which restricted my breathing and caused me to dream about being forced to crawl through increasingly tight spaces

That happened to a man named john jones he got trapped upside down for 27 hours he died and they sealed the cave closed with his body still inside. Its really unsettling to know that his body has been there all alone and sealed off forever

Illegal miners maybe, the company one would not do this. There are some standart procedures
also late reply but it would super unrealistic as just getting themselves threw these spots is hard add mining equipment plus the need to be able to bring anything mined plus the equipment in the end its unrealistic to even if illegally or done with slaves in the past to have been done.

I cant get my head around how the first guys actually figured out this was doable. What is the process? I assume alot of the squeezes only allow passage in one direction or once through theres no room to turn and change direction. The commitment and ability to back out are bound to be separated at points, where it is at best, an educated guess and a prayer? As a larger framed guy this shit terrifies me.

I always wonder what happens if you run into other cavers. Maybe a sign in system to prevent that or plenty of large areas to pass? Second thought: all of those tight squeezes and you know youve gotta do them twice to get out.

Everytime I watch one of these all I can think is what happens if there is a small tremor and the cave closes in a tiny bit

I swear thats the most dangerous hobby ever ...in other hobbies you can survive easy and sometimes it gets dangerous .but if you go down a tight tunnel and you see no chance to get back . Then you are done! Also a very painful scery death ..very frightening video

I did not expect that I enjoy watching people squeezing trough tiny holes. I think I might feel comfortable and safe at the space where I am by watching them panic.
This is the most extreme cases of caving. I have been going most of my life and very rarely experienced these situations.
