Two of Ozzys most popular cds with Zakk No Rest for the wicked & No More Tears..worked so well for that very reason. As you learn them..you see exactly where they took the riffs from. Ozzy's a smart man. Jake created his own thing like Randy did.
Thanks brother! That's absolutely right about the strings. I snap those other gauges too quickly. Of course playing varies..depending on the style you're playing but when you're an aggressive player like I am..it's important to have strings that make you work for your shit. cheers

Sorry thats vague, but there's a ton of tweaks on the 4 or 5 effects used on the setting. You have to have some chorus, Tons of distortion, a touch of reverb, noise gate of course & I believe that;s it. Then just make certain for Zakks sound you Beef up the bas..mostly through the chorus effect. Great modeling amps for matching tones. Live I use Marshall & MXRS.

I've been all about the 11's forever acoustic and electric.Nice n bold sounding, probably an important tool for endurance/finger strength as well.

So, your criticizing the man's instrument, and The music he play's? I'm taking a educated guess, that's you have A, guitar with 3 ("Disturbed") sticker's on it, and no amp. You only play drop C tuning, and your struggling to put a riff together, cause your fingertips sting a bit. "Moron" is the sticker for Your forehead.
