- Wow long time no see! I know this is quite the old video but it's the last of my 2022 moving dairies and more importantly a video I needed to get up so I can get to all the fun footage I've been filming but not editing opps...guess that's what happens when you start a new career. How old am I? I am 25 years old
Where do I go to school? I am a graduate from the University of Oregon with a major in Human Physiology with a minor in Media Studies. I just graduated nursing school in Portland, OR with hopes to go into pediatrics, oncology, or cadiology!
What else do you do? I am a ski coach to two teams in the portland metro area & love to get outside and share my love of the mountain with others!

I love your relationship with your dad. When I bought my first home with my husband my dad helped us soooo much and this reminds me of it. I lost my dad 4 years ago and miss him a lot 😢 but I always think back to all the time we spent together and he taught us about home owning and repairs. Hug your dad a little longer next time you see him 🥰
I love how passionate Doug is, and that he has actual opinions on your decor. My dad will help with anything I need in a heartbeat, but if I ask how something looks, it's "fine" no matter how not fine it looks 😂

Ok your dad is the sweetest how he talks through all his ideas for the bar and he made such a good point of it being another mini “room” as opposed to just decor
Love Doug so much! He really needs his own channel. I feel like I learn so much from him because of the way he talks out all of his ideas and reasonings for building and placing furniture/shelves around the apartment. I always look at my walls and think “What would Doug do?”

One day, in the future, you will be glad that you took the time to edit and upload all the "old footage". It will give you some thing to reflect on. I don't blog anymore, but when I do take a moment to go back and have a look at what life was like 10 years ago, I am amazed - and I love noticing things that were common place then that aren't any more. It's like a time capsule. Take your time. Moving, and starting a new job takes some adjusting. You got this! 😁

What has been the biggest shock managing a full time work/RUclips/fitness/life balance? What is the first ball that drops when you feel off balanced and how do you pick yourself back up?
I totally remember my adjustment period when I started my first job after graduating vet school, it was such a massive shock to my system and unlike anything I thought I was prepared for!! so I get it and hope you're doing good, and remember it won't be hard forever, it won't be overwhelming forever. My question is do you have any plans to catch up with friends from UofO? you always look so happy in their company.

I'm turning 21 in may and am graduating college soon this summer and am STRUGGLING to find practical ways to slowly ease into adulthood (prioritizing my relationship, saving for my first apartment, finding my first full time job after graduation soon). it's all very overwhelming and I don't know where to start!

Alright I have 2 questions. How do you manage your friendships/relationships when you don't see people everyday or very often? And do you have any tips for making friends as a 20 something post-grad?
As a fellow perfectionist and slight workaholic how do you cope with resting and forcing yourself to take a break? I also feel super guilty when taking breaks even if they are necessary. It just feels like I am being lazy or unproductive. Mabye it's just the med student in me. Much love for you and your content always❤
