Perkins' death was one of the first scenes in a film that made me cry... It was heartbreaking to see him die surrounded by his 'family'.
thanks for posting and yes it is sad when perkins dies... great series and harper is the best sgt
When I see Perkins face it makes me cry - upload some for sharpes challenge and sharpes peril
Daragh O'Malley is irreplacable as Sgt Harper. It would not have been nearly as good without him. A great actor, sadly absent too much from TV.
he mostly worked on stage shows from what I learnt from the DVDs I brought
Sharpe's Gold was so out of place for such a gritty and realistic series.
"realistic"
Both Bernard Cornwell and Sean Bean hated this episode because of how out of place it was.
Poor Perkins, he was like their kid brother.
Jesus you wouldn't kill an Englishman with that never mind a bloody Frenchman !!!
1:28 Can't stop laughing!
