I am 13 years old and i have been watching your channel for 3 years now and i can't thank you enough for educating me on mice my three girls are the best thing that has ever happened to me i wish i could buy from your store so badly but i live in new Zealand we don't have many good mice supplies over here but i make do and i will probably be watching your RUclips channel in years to come❤
I just love your content so, so, so much! Your videos always make me feel so ... cosy? I just enjoy watching them so much and I also really love the new header and the new intro and outro. 🥰 Your new mice are adorable! I hope Billie has a lot of time left and gets to meet your other mice too. ♥
Congratulations on the bew girls! my last trip to Ireland I learned that the crows were actually rooks and I fell in love with the I'm so happy to see them represent in your new group
Beautiful mice. You always pick wonderful names for your pets. I have such a hard time choosing names. I used to have a baby name book for when I played The Sims lol. 🐹💕
Lovely new mice, although I was drawn to Billy. I tend to go for the older animals myself. I had noticed she had a tumor though which as you know is such a frequent issue for them. But at least she has the youngsters to keep her company and revive her spirits and hopefully that will keep her going for a little while. You did a lovely job decorating their cage- a virtual amusement park for them!
im a housebound uk granny with a 15 yr old Collie Jenny, and 4 pet mice girls in big perspex rodent house with me 24/7 they wake me up at 4 am playing on their wheel and make me smile i have just given them an ice cream tub with garden soil in and sprinkled some dried bird seeds in they love it,, i try to give them diff things to play with they are 1 yr old now,, i love them so funny real little clowns from yorkshire granny
the moment I saw Robin I was like 'Robin would fit to her but I think she already had a mouse named Robin? idk' so I went with plant names as my guesses, but when I heard you went with a bird theme again I thought the white agouti one was going to be called Sparrow!
ik this is super random! but i just wanted to know what varnish you use on wooden objects for your mice! i want to give hopefully my future new friends the best care!
Hi, I'm probably too late for a reply, but I'm planning on getting so mice in the next year or so. I'm wondering how much they smell even with regular spot cleans and if they could be kept in my bedroom and they won't smell it out. I will buy and air purifier for them as well. Also where i live its not really common to have mice so i was wondering if its fine to buy them from a pet store
This is great because I have been thinking about getting some new girls but it’s not easy finding appropriate mouse items near me and I trust the products in your store. I would to know the total price of everything you picked out?
Love your products and the new mouse setup! Which bedding do you recommend that is as dust free as possible? I’m in the U.S. and have heard a lot of conflicting opinions.. help, aspen, etc. I’m planning on a single male mouse and want to do as much as possible to help with the smell.
I think it really depends on the brand and the manufacturing process. In general recommend dust extracted / kiln dried pine, aspen or hemp. But I’ve used “dust extracted” of all of them and found that they’re actually in fact still quite dusty. So it’s a bit of trial and error to see what works best for you and your mice. I’ve used hemp before and actually found it to be quite strong smelling and dusty but it could’ve just been that particular U.K. brand. I’d say kiln dried pine shavings have worked the best for odour control 😊
Hi!! i love your new mice there so pretty!! im a new time owner to four mice and originally i thought i was going to an ethical breeder but they were not and so my mice are extremely skittish there are two who are more comfortable and two who run at my even opening the cage i have tried bonding with them and stuff but i just dont know how to get them used to handling without scaring them to death do u have any ideas?
awww!! not emiology but if you've just got them, theyre probably still quite nervous. i had a really skittish mouse but i just kept my hand in the enclosure and mice usually are quite curious animals so theyd come up to you and sniff. just spend as much time as possible with them, like keeping your hand in the enclosure and they might be more and more brave with you. it honestly can take weeks. also when they are curious, rewarding them with treats like oats can encourage them
i am about to get 3 male rats and i am still trying to decide on what to name them do you have any ideas? i was thinking maybe peanut pumpkin and pretzel but i would love to know if you have any ideas😊❤
Awww the girls are beautiful. I'm getting mice for the first time in the next few weeks and would love it if you could stock hay or recommend a good hay for mice as I'm not sure what to go for x
It doesn’t have to be amazing quality as they won’t eat it so any dust extracted hay will do but I do like the science selective Timothy hay and I’ve used that with them before!
I'm just wondering, does having a bigger enclosure mean you would need to house more mice so they don't feel as vulnerable. I have a 240cm (length), 60cm (width) and around 50cm (height), I have 6 mice in that enclosure
Not always, it really depends on the mice. Some will do fine but some may need the security of having more mice if they’ve got the most cluttered enclosure in the world but you find they’re acting scared sometimes more mice can help. I’m only getting more because I can but my 6 mice are acting fine in their 120cm
I had 4 female mice already and i got 4 new 'female' 5-6 week old mice but one is a buck all 8 were together for about 4 days do you think any could be pregnant?
Yes it’s highly likely that all 7 of the females could now be pregnant. I’d bet at least one is 😬 which could result in you being in a really tricky situation with easily around 70 mice in a few weeks. If you take them all to the vet they can give them preventative medication to ensure that doesn’t happen
Hey Emi, sorry to bother you but I have kind of an important question. I have two mice, both around 5 months old. I've had them since 5 wks. They have a good size cage (similar to yours) and a lot of things to climb on and play with. The shavings are about 13cm deep so they have lots of space to burrow. In the last couple of months, one of them (Whiskey) has gained a lot of weight. Her sister Oreo is only 29g (possibly a bit underweight?) and as of today Whiskey weighed in at 52g. They both have the same food, and I give them a variety of ingredients and stuff. I'm looking for answers as to why this may be happening as I'm worried about her health. She's definitely not pregnant. 😊 Do you have any ideas as to what might be going on for her? Any advice you can give is much appreciated!! -Bailey
oml give it up 😭 she’s literally allergic to them and chronic exposure would’ve probably made it worse. health comes first and she made a whole vid on it, i don’t understand why people are so quick to pick on someone
You're so good at arranging their setups. I'm awful at it. Takes me ages to figure out where I'm putting things 🤣 welcome home little loves ❤
I’m quite indecisive about where to put things usually 😂 I find it fun to do though

I’m thinking about changing to the bucatstate 3.0 and was wondering how the lid has been for you?
I like the lid, I just wish it was mesh instead so it was easier to hang things on 😵💫
Maybe Billie stands for a Duck Bill haha
I have a question I really need to know otherwise I can’t get one but do mice stink
Yes they can sometimes. Male mice especially

It’d be so nice if you sold bedding
Ngl, I can't understand why someone would want to give up on rats to keep mice.
Probably because I didn’t. I’ve been owning mice for over 6 years, what relevancy does that have to me stopping owning rats?
