This made me realize how planes are so fast, low altitudes from distance, and it looks like a slug, but planes are actually faster than you think

I love when they're taking off, how they appear to just effortlessly rise into the air.✈️💕🩷🤗 Take-off has always been my favorite part when I travel because I love the speed of roaring down the runway and then feeling the G-forces when it lifts off.
Nice, I was just there a few days ago! when I walked outta a restaurant there was an Alaska flight that seemed to be 15 ft over my head👍👍 I could here the pilots on and off the throttle so clearly in the clouds then it popped out

Great shots. Planes take off at 160 kn fly at 500+ decend at 800 ft per minute and land at 148 kn per hour approximately. Faster than cars.
I worked for Alaska Airlines as a Ramp Agent betwen June and Mid August, most aircraft you see here, mainline or skywest/horizons, I got the chance to to service them IF this was filmed past 2pm haha

I lived on Air base. B52 F16 C 141 etc taking off. At first it sounds loud and then you learn to go to sleep by them. You get used to the sound and. Barely hear it. Nice sound. Welcome. Soothing

I've been going to Comic-Con for over 20 years and people who have not flown into this airport get real nervous on final where you are flying right past downtown and keep getting lower and lower with no sign of a runway. Then you go over the parking garage where the person filming is standing and you drop like a ROCK onto the runway after you've cleared it. Always gets a few gasps lol
