I live in Louisville, two miles from SDF. The UPS planes fly over my house every day. I’ve gotten so used to it that when I travel I really notice the silence.😊
@@StrayaAviation Not really. The flight path goes directly over my apartment building so I see them all the time.😊 But, several years ago Air Force One paid a visit to Louisville and I got to see it land close up. That was a treat.
I jumpseated on UPS out of MEM one time. The captain made a joke and said “If you want to see how to run a shipping company then go over there” and pointed to the FedEx ramp.
@@josephlori4625 which airport. MEM or SDF. UPS now can get a package from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world in 48 hours. FedEx cannot do that with double the fleet
Great footage from my home airport, Welcome to Louisville! The location you were spotting from, I know it all too well. Shot many photos and videos from that location. ❤
Flew into Louisville in April. As far as the eye could see, UPS. 75’s, 76’s and 74’s. Unless you see it, you’ll never understand how big UPS Worldport is. And that just the ramp.
This makes me wish I had stayed flying. It can be a long road to get where these flight crews are. UPS would be a dream job...no passengers forcing you back to the gate due to awful behavior.
Nice to see some jets with no winglets !!! I realize that they serve a purpose in saving fuel but I hate how they look. To me, it takes away the natural beauty of an aircraft. It's like a bad facelift. Natural beauty is always best.
Shot from the north end of south Crittenden Drive, in the old Republic Airways parking lot. I know it all to well, since I work for Republic! We've since moved to the old Compass hangar next door, which allows us to get three of our E175s COMPLETELY indoors. At the old hangar, which was built for E145s, the rear of our jets stuck out.
It's the old Republic Airways parking lot. We've since moved next door to the formerly Compass hangar, so this lot is no longer used, but is a good spot for planespotting.
I can say this without hesitation, best video quality on RUclips.
I agree but for live there is a 4k streamer out of Manchester called Fight, who I swear streams in HDR coz the colors pop so much.
Absolutely Incredible. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Thanks heaps!
Yes finally my home airport! SDF!

Same too
20:01 I always love watching UPS B763F's depart from KPDX, it's always fun, and B767s aren't as common as I remember just a few years back.
1 hour of this, I cannot thank you enough. I am so happy you made this.
Thanks mate!

Do you go plane spotting since you’re so close?

@@spades9048 that’s funny because they have double the fleet and UPS can still get packages anywhere faster
I worked at that airport for 10 years for another company.
That pilot is telling it like it is.

I missed the DC 10 after fedex, so I'm thrilled to have found your channel. I feel like I'm right at the chain link fence watching these.
BEAUTIFUL WORK MATE BEAUTIFUL WORK WITH THE SHOW AND THE AIRCRAFT
Many thanks mate!

Daytime doesn’t do justice either - night time is way busier too!
Good to see some 747 still flying even its stop production on 2022 or 2023 i think ❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah the 747 is everywhere. Few passenger left but very much still a thing in the cargo world. Until the 777 8x comes out
I think we will see the 747 for some time even after the 777x. The world won’t be the same when there’s no 747s left.
Seeing FedEx in Louisville feels so wrong 😂
UPS flies into Memphis so the feelings are mutual
I have Memphis being uploaded in September. Perhaps you may see a UPS there 😆
Excellent videography. Where was your vantage point for shooting this?
i love straya aviation

next time youre in SDF theres a butcher shop within a few minutes called franks meats. sat-tues they have the best burgers, & chili youve ever had.
A FedEx plane has snuck into a huge fleet of UPS cargo planes. Will it be able to complete the impossible mission? Haha...
where are you at? Thats a great viewing area.

hello American yes bone voyaje plus vans pilote 😊❤🎉
thank you, it is so hard to find a video or stream with no ATC or commentary. i just wanna watch and listen to the planes for christ sake!
Thank you for watching mate! Yeah, I feel the same way and that is no criticism to those who do live streams, I just prefer to listen to the planes
Where is this spotting location?
Norht end of south Crittenden Drive
Where is the spot you took the video? Who’s parking lot or gravel area by the fence?
It's the old Republic Airways parking lot. We've since moved next door to the formerly Compass hangar, so this lot is no longer used, but is a good spot for planespotting.
Please include the date of the footage in the description of your videos.
Why is it all Ups
That's their main base for ops :)
Why did the nose gear go up like that 13:00
I’m not an expert but I believe to do with the aerodynamics of the MD-11
UPS base lol
Indeed
Umm the average flight on UPS 212 is 8.5-9 hours, not 5?!?!
I may of just made an error :)
There were a lot of video cards haha
