    • @slosubies4845
      @slosubies4845 2 дня назад

      I took a Glock armorer class a few years ago, where one of their sales guys explained that a lot of their decisions like the cheap plastic sights is all in the interest of keeping initial purchase price down. He said their research shows that around 70-80% of pistol owners put different sights on anyway, so why up the price of a "base model" gun by putting on sights that people will just discard in the first few months? But the rail, in this case, is just part of the frame mold and should never have added any cost to the gun (unless there is metal reinforcement in the frame?).

    Glock are literally the “Apple” of the firearm industry and I mean that as much as a compliment as I do an insult.
    They’ve been selling the same product with minimal enhancements for decades now and every time a “new” release comes out, they just did something like make the slide .3mm longer or scoot the slide stop back by 1mm, yet people still continue to throw money at them, myself included. There’s nothing wrong with them but also nothing good about them. They’re vanilla ice cream.

    Like BMW, and Mercedes etc, must pay for extras that are actually essential for fullest enjoyment of the product or optimal use by the operator. Not for Western European manufacturing culture, US, Asia, Eastern European manufacturers tend to give better value for what you are buying. That arrogance will see them loose market share, as is the case where they loosing market share to Canik, S&W, Luger, & CZ and others, shame

  • @SullyCortez
    @SullyCortez 8 дней назад

    Seriously such BS…. There should be an “upgrade” program for those of us that bought the G43x only for two months later them to drop the railed version. Now they’re discontinuing the rail less version and I’m still stuck here with the stupid olight pl2 and recover tactical rail adapter. So annoying Glock, like please ffs stop releasing iterations of models that have key features removed only to release that same model WITH A KEY FEATURE screwing over those that got the first version.

  • @garytucholl7699

    I prefer no rails on my guns. I don’t hang lights, lasers, bayonets, grenade launchers or any other junk on my guns, and I think the rails are just plain ugly. I don’t need MOS either, as I don’t use optics. Just give me a plain Jane pistol. My favorite Glocks are the Gen 2’s…no rails, no finger grooves, just a sweet shooting pistol.

    • @garyszewc3339
      @garyszewc3339 23 дня назад +1

      Don't get ported. I had a S&W Shield Plus, with a ported barrel. Thought the slotted slide looked cool. The gun gets FILTHY inside, and I mean the whole inside. I bought a non ported barrel for it. Buy a compensator, if you are worried about muzzle rise.

    • @Sal-oi1db
      @Sal-oi1db 4 дня назад

      @@garyszewc3339 you're right about the filth. However, my barrel extends about 3/4" beyond the slide so the port exhaust is not deposited inside. I do love the reduced muzzle flip. Got the barrel on eBay for $100.

    I gotta say, as a new gun owner and seeing all these gun related videos, I'm kind of sick of hearing about Glocks.
