@@general-griveous5913 just like the video says you have to have a gap still that is why there is a .4 tolerance with the feeler gauge and you do not want the feeler gauge to be stuck shut so it has room to move around still You must’ve tightened it way too tight. great insight now I feel more confident the only repair I don't wanna deal with is changing tires lol it's such a hassle
To this day I pay my buddy Dave a visit who owns a scooter shop in my area whenever I have a tire need lol

The reason you need more lash on the exhaust then the intake is because that valve gets hotter so it's going to expand more.

Hey there David, is it the same technique on a 2T?
There are no valves on a two stroke
Valves do not exist on a two stroke it is simply
Piston
Cylinder (jug)
Head
Those are the components of a two stroke three top and motor pieces in comparison to a four stroke
Piston
Cylinder (jug)
Head
Camshaft
Rocker arms
Valve cover
I hope that makes sense but all I’m saying is there’s a ton of more parts involved with a four stroke in comparison to a two-stroke
