I don't get it. The title is strip polish and rebuild. I was eager to see how to polish the sear. At no point do you show how you polished sear . I have no idea what you used, how you did it.... Nothing...Odd.

so this cd trigger is a "copy" of rekord trigger but honestly it is simpler and better in my opinion. Even the gun itself, AA is very very maintenance friendly compared to hw springer. i own tx200 and some HWs but cant wait to have prosport in the future.

Nice clear vid., but you dont actually show the polishing which was one of the primary points for the vid wasn't it (hence the title!)?

Just had my TX200 apart for the first time ever as the safety snapped, never knocked the pins out of anything before much more used to unscrewing things. Thanks for putting this guide up it's been really useful.

Helpful little guide. I polished my cd unit before I found this guide, it's a really easy job and makes a big difference after. I used some dry-slide for lubricant on the Sears works brilliantly

Very Good tear down and assembly 👍🏻, but I didn’t see the polishing part ?
When I obtain a TX 200 in the future I think I will leave it alone an just adjust the trigger by following the manual.

Understand you use Solvol Autosol for the polishing compound... as a biker I have loads of this stuff... is it a manual polish or do you use a small wheel on a dremel?

yep agree, but without the grief of little springs to position, lgu is lovely you can lay all components in one half of trigger block, then put other half on top two screws to retain

I found that the roughest part of my trigger action was during the first part of the trigger pull.
It doesn’t mention it in this video but I also polished the UNDERSIDE of the bottom sear (where the trigger adjustment screws meet the sear).
Even in a thirteen year old gun the original machining marks were visible and quite rough.
Now in conjunction with polishing the other areas described it’s very smooth indeed.
Thanks so much for taking the time to show us how. 👍

Many thanks. Excellent tutorial on the trigger. I have recently purchased a TX200 and have a wee problem . . There is no “feel” to the trigger. By that I mean I can’t feel when the second screw touches the sear. Very indistinct progression from stage 1 to stage 2.

Wind the screw that is towards the barrel out one full turn then try, turn out another turn then try. Any good?
