Do the lights get triggered by plant leaves and branches moving in wind? I want to buy a Steinel light but have lots of plants and trees near the area where I want to install the lights.
Is there any way to adjust sensitivity? I have recently moved in to a new house and the PIR is being triggered constantly throughout the night causing unnecessary light pollution
Hi, I just installed the lamp , but I ran into the same problem as Jan Verhulst described below. The lamp does not switch off after a certain period. I tried different settings.
I have the same problem like Ron Haak and Jan Verhulst described. My XLED home 2 does not switch off when I power it up. Just constantly shining. Dear Steinel please help me.
@@raphaeleymann I swapped wires. I was a year ago so I dont remember details but swapped blue with brown probably. Everything is in manual or on RUclips also.
@@andrzejz6062 I had it connected with the right L and then tried with the "wrong" L' because it wouldn't turn off and even this did not work - and now I am thinking the Sensor has been blown. Sent it back and already bought another one - the new one works.
Thanks for the instructions. Before buying the product, I wanted to know what happens when the power is turned on (e.g. if I would put a switch behind it). Does it automatically turn on the light until the timer period has passed without the need of any motion detection? After that the normal motion detection cycles start...
Dear Maarten, thanks for your comment! In regards to your question: When the unit is activated via a switch the unit will power up for 5-10 seconds to initialise and then power down. Once the unit sees movement the unit will then run in conjunction with the time delay setting. We hope we could answer you question and provide an extra motivation to buy the product? ;) Best regards from Germany, Your STEINEL Social Media Team
Is it possible to use this light for twilight only? Not that it will turn on by movement, but that it will stay on by night untill daylight? If possible, how can i adjust this setting? Looking forward to your reply! Greetings.
Hallo, i just installed the product, but when i put on the power the lamp keep shining. I set the sun icon because its daylight now and the reach button low. Its seems the timer function does not work. Can you help?

@@raphaeleymann Now I remember: Connect brown live (phase) wire to L not to L’ - L’ is the live wire out to connect „slave” LED lamp.

Do you have another video showing how to connect a second light so they both come on when one is triggered?
Can you link a secondary prt(san light) to the link line as well?
