Nothing makes me more nostalgic than the old AFV theme! You might have to be an early 90s kid like me to understand...but hearing this just feels innocent and happy. When they changed the set and music once Bob Saget left in 1996 it really was never the same again,

I love the 1990 theme. Not that I don’t mind the Bergeron one but this theme is super iconic and really takes me back to an era where families simply just sat by a TV together to watch a show like America’s Funniest Home Videos. No smartphones, no tablets, maybe a video game console hooked up but turned off. Everyone just watching 1 TV. I miss those days. And I remember as a little kid calling the show “the Funniest” rather than AFV.

Back when the creative minds of Hollywood were actually creative, back when game developers pushed the limits of technology to give us a truly profound gaming and story experience, back when music wasn't terrible, back when people still played outside with sidewalk chalk and skateboards, back when people weren't afraid to speak their minds, weren't afraid to live life, back when the American Dream was still obtainable, back when the world was still blessed with Robin Williams, Fred Rogers, Bob Ross, and Steve Irwin. We remember these amazing years, look at the world today, and wonder where everything went wrong. The world may be lost, but our memories are forever... until we get Alzheimer's that goes untreated because people think we identify as a forgetful person and treating our identity would be bigoted.

Birmingham, Alabama brought me here in 1989 when i born on October 4. But watching it with my Families at Dinner time on a Sunday Night during the NFL Games on Sundays after Church Services throughout most the 1990's growing up from Toddlers to Pre-Teens.
Like many, I didn’t grow up in America .. but definitely this show was part of my childhood.. And I believe there’s millions of people around the world just like me who will remember Bob as the guy who put a huge smile on their little faces.
