Big ups to Naz Perez. Great charisma and she asked a lot of questions I didn't even know that I wanted the answers for. Very impressive. A lot of fake interviewers with fake charisma and fake interest from the people they're talking to, but you could tell by the body language of the actors they were genuinely interested in the conversation.
@@Eserr7856 Sure could, but I'm talking more about neutral body language as opposed to open body language. Most interviews will be neutral body language.
My dad will have passed away from Cancer 6 years ago this year, yet he watched the first Guardians of the Galaxy and absolutely loved it. He didnt get to see Volume 2, but how great these movies are and what James Gunn has done is amazing. The stories of each movie are great and each will make you sad and happy at times, and now we get the ending with Volume 3 and I cant wait to watch it
I love the questions she is asking. Unlike some other interviewers, is easy to see that she really is interested in them and what they want to say and she is not just asking random questions to receive a pay check. Is so rare for me to see an honestly interested interviewer that I had to point it out. Guardians 3 will be so good, I trust Gunn and his talent with great movies that can touch the heart. I also love so much all of this characters, they are all so likeable and unique that I know I will miss them so, so much.
I took my 11 year old son to this. He started crying and I asked him why he was crying. He said " I don't want you to die." It really hit home with him how important family is. I told him this is why i tell him to appreciate every minute together...Great movie.
this was a really great interview, awesome questions and answers. i like the longer format that really allows the cast to give complete answers and not just sound bites. Well done interviewer!!!
This is one of the greatest interviews I’ve ever seen. Everyone is so well spoken and knowledgeable. Beautiful. I got the chance to see the film 3 times and it’s definitely in my top 10 maybe top 5 marvel movies.
Damn, all this time i've been crediting the "aliveness", the "humanity" of Rocket to Bradley Cooper & tje VFX team, i forgot how much Sean Gunn played a part by doing the motion capture. Saw the movie yesterday & i should say Sean plays a hige role in incredibly stirring my emotiona. Awesome dude.
Chukwudi Iwuji's High Evolutionary reminds me of Scorpius from Farscape who seeks perfection, preciseness of sorts. This is the Farscape of the MCU and Gunn was inspired by that show.
Someone who wants an Oscar better scoop up Chukwudi Iwuji and make a James Baldwin Biopic ASAP. This dude has the talent, the charisma, and the voice for James Baldwin an american hero, and civil rights icon, who should be more talked about, and is extremely influential.
I'm going guess that the opening song is Creep by Radiohead, and it's going to be connected to Rocket. I'd heard that Creep was on the soundtrack, so it makes sense if it's connected to Rocket given that it seems his backstory will play a big part in this chapter. If it's not the opening song I still think it will be Rockets theme given the self hatred he evidently has for himself.
This might be one of the best interviewers I’ve seen she has genuine questions with thought behind them she really seems like a fan who appreciate the little things
She did a great job! Five intelligent and articulate individuals (not to mention talented). Yay for James, it's about time to recognize that the competition between Marvel and DC is like other “who's the best" in that it's a top down matter. The companies (teams) might compete, a lot of people really don’t care. Started with Superman and Batman at five years old and got into Captain America and Thor about five years later. Never lost the excitement or love for all of the various characters. Every month, about once a week, would ride my bike down to the outdoor "newsstand" (remember those?) to buy forty plus comics. Even Archie and the gang. It didn't matter which side they were on, it was an escape from my own life while reading in my room entering a "friends" world. We didn't have video games, or anime, we had comics. Kinda' wonderful to see how sixty years after being denigrated for reading comics, considered worse than a "dime novel," (really mom?) they are now being used in some of the most popular movies in the world...gee, maybe it wasn't so bad after all. Life’s a trip and you get a front row seat...enjoy the view! Peace, out... Uncle Brother
I really like Chukwudi's description of The High Evolutionary. A mix of Shakespeare, Dr. Moreau & I think he meant Laurence Olivier's character in Boys From Brazil, all that & him playing that kind of role sounds awesome & I can't wait to see his performance! I can't wait to see the movie in general & I know it's not that long until May, but man do I wish May was here already! Or at least next week!

There is a RUclips clip of auditions with different actors trying out for GOTG like the late Chadwick Boseman auditioning for Drax the Destroyer bring that sense of honor, regalness to the character. Zachary Levi said he did audition for Peter Quill before becoming Fandral and Shazam.

Oh my god, I need OG Groot’s backstory. Please like a movie or a special even. It’s sounds like a kinda sad lonely tale that I really wanna see transition into the first movie, and give baby Groot’s family relationship with the guardians more significance
8:45 one second gunn was saying nice thing about mantis, the next second he talked about pratt having leading man quality. u can see mantis was kind of sad, maybe in her mind gunn doesnt see her as having leading (lady) quality.

I think you over interpreted a bit. Mantis doesn't have most of the weight of the movie on her back, but Peter has. Sometimes you don't need the best actor but the people who are "likable" that will get people's butt into the theatre. The first two Thor movies are quite bad but the charisma of Chris and Tom saved it. Captain Marvel is not worse than those but the negative charisma from Brie made the movie very difficult to do marketing.
