Broooo... I've had this controller for about 2 weeks now and could not for the life of me figure out why my RT trigger was shooting randomly and non-stop. I've searched high and low for a resolution but nothing seemed to work. I've deleted and redownloaded the controller driver and iCUE app countless of times. It wasn't until you mentioned in this video about the deadzone causing you to throw grenades that it dawned on me that my deadzone being 0% was too low/sensitive. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

i had no idea that the inner triggers and side buttons could be switched out (i didnt really look inside box i was just excited to play lol) and also had no idea the faceplate just came off like that! im stoked!! thanks teep

Correct but .75ms…. Not sure any humans will notice that.
It makes a difference if you can see it. Not everyone can see it. But if you are one who can, you need to oc it.

Only standard Microsoft Xbox controllers can’t be overclocked. Ppl are so misinformed on this lol. I overclocked my victrix gambit several times and went from 3.89 to 0.95ms input delay tested with xinput tester. Third party Xbox controllers/pro controllers can be OCd. You’re welcome
Mine has a huge amount of stick drift. Huge. More than the ps 5 controller i modded and am replacing due to stick drift…
The controller just dropped and you have stick drift, it sounds like you dont take care of your stuff.

@@SwipySolos nah stick drift can literally happen at any time when i first bought my xbox one elite controller the right stick had insane stick drift and had to play on 5 deadzone sense on gears of war 4 and now i have the razer wolverine v2 without any stick drift and play on 0-0 deadzone settings and ive had it for over a year now with nothing wrong with it and just to clarify i had that stick drift right out of the box with the elite controller but i was just to busy to go back n return it within that 30 days cuz i thought i had that extra warranty lol

My icue still crashes constantly. And the hardware mappings CAN be used without the app, BUT you cannot use Keyboard or Mouse binds, which totally defeats the purpose of the controller.....
I just got mine after having an Elite Series 2. Im still torn on the Envision. The extra buttons are great, but I tend to press the side buttons on accident a lot.. I also play claw, and these paddles are REALLY difficult to press with your ring finger

Has Scufs quality improved? I've owned 3 controllers from them over the years and have always been extremely disappointed.
My biggest complaint was the stick drift. Some reviewers claim it’s great. Others, like me, have had a lot of stick drift right out of the box.
after my elite inevitably gets stick drift, this will be the next controller I think
my elites bumper buttons always broke down after a short time. Xbox controllers are build weak on that.
It’s worth every penny. After using Xbox elite controllers for years, this is definitely the go to! Quality control is everything compared to the elites. No stick drift or any problems so far with the envision pro!
for some reason i am only getting single digits for deadzone. No decimal? I try to highlight and type .01 but reverts to 1. Thoughts?

What is the reasoning for .75 max Left deadzone
dont have to move stick as much to get full effect. I play with my left at .65 and my right at .85. it's quicker response, less movement in the joysticks = faster response = faster movement/kills
@@jasonunruh9605why would you want less control on your right stick that makes zero sense. I understand left stick for rotational aim assist but your losing so much control and ability to micro adjust aim with running lower max on right stick
@Rhomzy revert back to my first sentence. Quick movement. Its not "less control" it means i have to move my stick less to get to 100%. You must be a camper?

Re download the overclock script so you can get 8000 instead of 1k its worth it

You can change the stick with a normal dual sense stick. so the cf will fit.

@markcoleman86 I have the PS5 CoD edition Kontrol Freaks, and they fit perfectly. Loose enough to spin if you want to rotate them, but tight enough to rotate on their own.

I took off the front magnetic faceplate, there’s a hard reset button next to the A and B buttons( use a paper clip to press the button) press the reset button for 5 seconds and it’ll redo the process, don’t worry you don’t lose your custom profiles. The same thing happened for me with update failed, and this solved the issue

Mine had stick drift out the box and the outer paddles at least to me are kinda hard to press to the point where it isn't fluid during gameplay

Controller feels amazing. All paddles are super easy to press. Outer ones slightly harder, but that's overstating it. Stick drift of .01 is nothing anyways.
Just use it for a few and see how it works out. Still bad take it back or sell.
It even comes with Zed Cronus. Best controller ever!

I heard the Icue software is buggy and has a hard time saving profiles and needs adjusting right out the box. I do believe it too because my coorsair build on my PC always resets. So i gotta wait till they make some software updates
Once I got past the initial set up which was a pain to get the software to recognize the controller everything has worked perfectly what I did to make it recognize it is force quit all the things running for the Corsair software then retry and it worked
I know this is Random but if you plugged your controller via usb-c to your usb-c port on your pc would it allow for faster speed on the overclock? Or does usb give the max speed
Same thoughts.. I bought the NON pro since it's my first time using the sticks. But if I like it I might upgrade to the pro and if the extra wireless feature was just as good as wired overclock.
When you overclock, you are not actually overclocking the controller, you are overclocking the USB port.

@@slugzz- not exactly. This controller is polling rate locked at 500hz, so even if you overclock your port, the controller will stay at 500hz

@@jlafountain I found out it’s just a single player aim assist option. Not sure why it shows up for some and not others.
How in the hell do you make it work? I use iCue software and the paddles and s buttons don't even work. The only way I can make it work is by shutting down the software which I need for changing my fan curves.
Yeah the iCue can be a bit confusing at first for the button mapping. Just Right click (with your mouse) on the button you want to map and it will give you another selection window of choices for mapping options. Just do that for each button/paddle you want to map. Hope that helps you.
@@logswingers25 That is what I'm doing, it was easy doing that. Getting it to actually function with the mapping is a different story which is what I'm trying to figure out.
I go to gamepad tester with none of the paddles and s buttons working unless the software is off and I manually map it.
The G buttons work fine when mapping them which is odd.
I think their SCUF RUclips page has tutorials and stuff too
@@imvizual_ The tutorials don't help. When the software isn't on or my computer is freshly restarted it works. The moment I flip the switch from wireless to wired or visa versa it stops working with the extra buttons. Already did a fresh reinstall with removing all my settings with it not correcting it. Going to wait on support since I have tried looking into if there isn't a service running for iCUE, but nothing has fixed it.
@@kekoa_tco8622 it’s dependent on if you have hardware mappings (which is what the controller reads without the software running) vs normal mappings (which is while iCUE is running). It’s pretty seamless tbh I’ve had no problems lol

You can’t overclock this controller. Only the ps5 scuf version of it. He’s full of shit. It can’t be overclock. It’s been proven

Dual sence edge elite!
It just uses a Dualsense shell. It doesn't have gyro, a TouchPad or most of the Dualsense functions. It's basically an Xbox controller
@vaudou_ yes it does has TouchPad trigger affects, trigger stops it's has all them lmmfao, it's even shaped a lil diff man your lost, can take stick mods off and replace no stick drift ever again!
Unfortunately this controller has been a bit of a headache for me :( going to be returning this week to Best Buy. Might just look for another elite
You can set specific keybinds on this remote I got the pro and games like call of duty WZ battle royale this is the only remote that can do this so instead of having one button doing like crouch prone all that now you can just slide only with specific keybind this is awesome
