You absolutely saved me I could not figure out how to get it out and then I couldn’t get it back in! The close up was the most important because most of the others I couldn’t see and the pics in the singer hand book are a joke.
Thank you so much for the great advice! I thought the machine was broken and would need repair but after following these steps the machine is running smoothly again! There was a lot of lint buildup and I also added oil where you recommended. Thanks again!!
You are such a LIFE saver. I've been Googling high and low, been on Singer's website to find how to re-insert the bobbin case for this Singer Simple 3337. Even the manual and the official Singer RUclips channel didn't have this "how to." Thank you, you're an excellent and enthusiastic teacher and you're awesome!!!
thanks,,thanks, very thanks,,I was trying to solve this problem for abut two hours by myself ,I was sad very sad ,, when I saw this video.OH MY GOD my life comes again.. thank you very much.
Thank you so much!! I was able to help my mom to get her machine working again!! The bobbin case was not going in correctly until I found your video!! thank you
Thank you so much, you filled in some gaps that were missing from the manual 😁 I was sure that I should need to oil my Singer fashionmate but couldn’t work out where or how. Oh dear there was a lot of lint 😬
Yeah apparently not all of the bobbin trays come out. I have a m3220 singer and no matter how hard i pull on the bobbin tray it doesn't come out it wiggles around but it looks like other stuff has to come out to get it out.
I hope you can help. I have just inherited this machine and it has never been used. I bought it for my Daughter who recently passed away. Anyway i thought I would make some masks, and I had a Kenmore machine for many years so I am not a beginner. The manual is not with the machine, but I am having a lot of trouble with the top thread getting stuck somewhere between step 2 and 6. Also when I do get it to sew for a few inches its really hard to get the material out as the top thread is so tight. I have checked that I have the thread in the correct way, and have used several different brands with the same problem. Today I was almost in tears so stopped and am trying to get some help. Hope you can tell me what could be wrong.
@@roxannecoster i removed the top screw from the metal tongue looking thing on the top left of the bobbin..then I could just gently swing the metal part out of the way and remove the bobbin casing.
Can you show us how to adjust the timing? My machine wasn’t catching the bottom thread and I had to try to figure it out myself. It still doesn’t seem quit right....
Hi. I need your help. In my machine the thread Doesn't come up from the bobbin case. The bobbin Doesn't move. Can you please tell the solution if you know. Thank you very much.
I think maybe Singer slightly changed the design since her machine. I have the same problem and I watched her do it over and over again. The part on the bottom right with the spring she mentions at 4:10, my machine has an extra hook of metal holding the bobbin case in place securely. Obnoxiously securely.
@@toxicginger9936 My Singer 4411 has a similar issue, but I've figured out an easy method to get the bobbin case out. That "extra metal hook holding the bobbin case in place" is indeed holding the case down, BUT do NOT loosen or remove its screws. The screws are factory tightened and should be left that way. To get the case out easily: Turn the handwheel towards you and not away from you until the needle is up out of the way AND until the opening of the race hook is at the left of that metal piece (its a retaining tab and I think it looks like a flat finger). The opening should be at about the 10 o'clock position so to say. Look at 2:50 in this video we're commenting in. See the opening is at about the 11 o'clock position. But, if more to the left at about the 10 o'clock position, it will be very easy to take out the case. It may take a couple of full turns of the handwheel to get both the needle and the opening in the right position. Grasp the front edge of the bobbin case with a thumb and forefinger then lift up and slightly to the left in the direction of the race hook opening. HTH
What oil should I use for this machine? It didn’t come with a manual so I went on the singer website and the manual on there Says not to use all purpose oil, but that’s all I see on the market. Help!
So I have a brother machine, and its currently broken, but I googled who can fix my sewing machine, but I can't find the answer anywhere ! Do you know who fixes sewing machine and who I can bring that into or what type of business? THANK YOU!
So why is it , I can’t get the tray out, I remember a year ago I somehow got it out but almost gave up getting it back in , I thought I would never do that again
When I sew a fabric, the needle gets stuck and I feel like there is a stone underneath it and it cannot get down, and it keeps getting stuck so I don’t understand what this is. Please help?!
I removed the bobbin case to clean it and I’ve put it back as per the video but now my needle isn’t catching the bobbin thread/the top thread keeps getting caught around the bobbin area and not picking up the bobbin thread so I can no longer sew any stitches :( does anyone know how I can fix this?
Same here, but while cleaning, i mistakenly thought the wick was junk and threw it away, regardless, im not sure why the top thread keeps wrapping around the bobbin
I had the same issue. In my case, I was not always catching the bobbin thread properly in the case when I was loading the bobbin. Might be the same issue for you.

You made getting the bobbin case out look so easy lol. I don't want to pry and break it to get it out...Is there some kind of trick to it?
Never mind...turned my wheel and that did it! Thanks for the video!

SonDoras Miles 😩 I ended up returning this machine because I kept having issues with tension
There is a little trapdoor at the bottom of the machine found it after dropping 2 screws. All that lint comes out that way!
I fucking love you😭😭
These videos are the best, thank you for taking the time to make these!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I couldn't get in there without guidance

@@TwinsofDestruction Got this fixed?
@@toxicginger9936 You are right. The most likely cause is the thread wasn't threaded through the bobbin case tension slot.
