    I rarely take time to write comments, but I had to tell you that you did an amazing job here! Being a fan of Interstellar, I can say you really reproduced the atmosphere from the movie in your short film here! Great shots, great soundtrack of course, I mean you aced it here! And I especially like the shots taken from the computer! The only thing I would tell you to improve is the audio quality and the monologue (actor intonation), then it would be really perfect! Anyway keep it up can't wait to see more! :)

    I'm a huge fan of Interstellar and i could feel and capt the same emotion in this short film as when i see the movie. Loved how clear and warm the color grading is just like the movie, same with the music editing it hits you in the right place at the right moment. Also the concept and the lighting is so natural. Congrats, one of my fav short film i've seen. Gained a new fan and subscriptor!! can't wait to see another of your short films.

    Superb short!! Great angle on the 'Interstellar' inspiration - a movie that inspires me SO much, and a film score I adore. This is saying an awful lot, but I think Zimmer's best score.
    Your inspiration is tragically beautiful.

    You just made me not trade my BMCC to get a Sony a7 which was my original idea because of the portability but I’d rather keep it forever now omg omg !! This is such great footage I’m amazed at your work! Simply Brilliant ! I hope I can find more footage from you using this camera ! I am still shocked I almost traded this camera until I saw this! 😬❤️

    I love and use the first black magic cameras, love them. Love this too! Interstellar is one of my favs. From your dark images, how did you get little to none compression with your darks? RUclips's compression is a killer with dark images lol. Much love!

    Can you provide a link to the exact model of Black magic Cinema Camera? Which lens did you use for the majority of the shoot?

    • @schoolpost2009
      @schoolpost2009  7 лет назад +4

      Stromedy it's shot on the Blackmagic cinema camera 2.5K EF mount. You can get a very similar look with the cheaper Blackmagic pocket cinema camera as well. Majority of the shoot was done with a Sigma 20mm 1.8

    • @schoolpost2009
      @schoolpost2009  6 лет назад +1

      chinelo betserai Its my favourite lens I own. That being said, it’s not perfect at 1.8 all the time. But it’s a surprising performer at 1.8. At least for me, also a bit of softness can be a good thing. Too sharp can be very artificial looking.
