Cant help but think of Tim when Chris was talking about good employees. They were like left brain, right brain. A great team! Imagine what Chris. Tim, Mike and John could get done! Cheers!
It's very cool to watch a couple of the BEST in the business work together. I learn so much watching you two. If I could go back 30 or 40 years I might have chosen your career path.
Chris, you sure had DP run his balls off dozin!!!! It's extremely hard to find someone in this field to mentally be on the same page as you. Nicely done guys!
First things first: Great video!! Absolutely thrilled Chris had a playmate this week and DP more than fits the bill. The chemistry between you two is not only priceless but magnificent!!! You both have your strong points but your work ethics are the best. Congrats you two!!!
Very interesting to see the pond build from scratch. You not only do great work but your commentary really helps explain why you do things the way you do.
Chris I'm sure you will get to met Jerry at the meet & Greet at the end of the month, Mike mention that Jerry was going. Great seeing two great workers working together.
You realize when DP gets home he's going to tell his boss he needs another piece of equipment And she will look at him and say she will need to have a talk with you. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
Yeah Tom he really liked that Komatsu dozer so I wouldn’t be surprised if The next dozer that he gets is a Komatsu 39, that size of dozer would be perfect for his operation
The back and forth banter is what this channel has been missing ever since Timmy left. Ole DP made this video much more entertaining to watch. I guess what I'm trying to say is Chris needs a full time Mike lol. Its a shame people would rather collect a covid check instead of working for a living! 👍🏻👍🏻

*Absolutely a Fantastic Team!!! Both Leaders In the Industry!!!* (I liked when DP wiped his hands on the bottom of his pants from greasing, and then jumped into the new dozer seat🤦♂️😂)
The Day begin not good excavator battery empty, but the car give help. Then start the pond building. Chris with the excavator and Mike with the Dozer. The two a best quality team. A great video, i glad my to the next continuation. 👌
Hey Chris & Mike !!! Great looking so far !!! Too bad that you couldn't have started sooner , but you had to do the grades too !! Have a good week & ENJOY your time in Louisville !!

Hello Chris Guins and it's very cool that you and Mike that Let's Digeit-18 &Dirt Perfect and you Two are always extremely Very Professional with everything you Guy's are doing with your Heavy Equipment Machinery and professional Operating Skills ! I’m with mike. Yellow grease gun left in the back of the truck, even ran it over with the Jeep by accident, been working wonderfully for 5 years now. The red one we had at work lasted less than a case of tubes before she let the magic smoke fly. 🤷🏼♂️
It is truly amazing when you can find a person that both work together and can read each other's mind the way you two operate. I have worked with one person like that before.
"A good core trench will eliminate the need to put your lake on anyone's prayer list." You and Mike are a team to reckon with. Have fun while the sun shines. Next season is mud season. Great job.
It is so interesting when the two get together, enjoy the videos that both of you put out. At times it is hard to watch some of these other operators push and throw dirt, the two of you work with such grace.
Chris, Team Work Makes The Dream Work, when the two of the Best, Work together, Its MAGIC!!! It shows here with you and Mike. THey say that great minds think a like. Well you two have just proven that ! Stay safe you two, and God bless.Wanda In Ok
I was thinking about your "helper", and that reminded me of something my Dad used to say and it generally proved to be true: "One boy, all boy; two boys, half a boy; three boys, no boy at all."
So good to watch two guys who just might be considered experts (LOL) at their craft collaborating on a job.....I am an old retired codger watching from down under (although I am an american) and really enjoying the banter between ya"ll........Keep on keepin on>>>>>>>>>>>>
Chris, why didn't you title this Digging a pond with Dirt Perfect? #dirtperfect Watching you guys work together is like watching Michael and Jerry work. Michael has said the same thing you did about Jerry, "he knows my next move and I know his. This was definitely great video Chris and Michael.
I liked that, "Just mix it all up, and make something beautiful out of it"... That was a pleasure watching two highly skilled operators working together.. DP used to working with a crew and LD18 working solo.. When you a job going almost flawlessly you know the operators are very skilled and on the same page.. Very enjoyable to watch........... 10/10
These two do work together real good it is like a swiss watch, I would like to see jerry come down there and show chris how it is done not to take anything away form chris but jerry is a master

Problem with finding good help is nobody wants to learn that kind of work anymore. Pond building and construction is an art. Especially pond building. As you said you have to learn what soil types are best for different things. You have to be able to "read" the terrain and know how to lay out a pond. You have to know runoff and what the direction the water comes in and needs to go out. Young people just don't want to learn that type of work because they are afraid they will have to actually WORK. Farming is the same way, I have neighbors who just can't find help cause nobody knows how to do that kind of work anymore. Most of the old timers that ran the cats with cable pans and road graders and turn pulls are now gone. Who will take their place...
Don't despair! My son is in the army even as we speak....he is a 12N....Horizontal construction engineer....he is also a blacksmith, makes furniture and is a classically trained baritone who will go to school to learn opera once he gets out of the Army. His cousin is in school to learn how to fix heavy equipment, tractors, ect, and the other 4 cousins (all boys) spend their time making hay, plowing, harvesting, and fixing everything they operate. In their spare time, they help the Amish neighbors with their farm needs. Did I mention they all are either college grads or are in school? I know they may be the exception, but there are many more out there who work just as hard as they do. Sadly, no one reports on the hard workers, but I assure you, they certainly do exist 😊
@@jenniferbutcher8393 Yeah, my son is in another area all together but doing the work. He is heavy wrecker driver and clears the highway when semi drivers mess up. You’re exactly right Chris. Everyone I try to get to work with me says they’d rather start their own business and not work for someone cause that’s how you make the money. However as all business owner’s know plenty of headaches come along with running and owning a business.
Chris you missed a perfect time to put a sign on the back of the dozer .

You two working together make for a well oiled pond building machine. Moved some dirt in a couple of hours there. 👍
Good to see Mike come visit. Always a video with laughs when he joins. Have him bring Lt Dan next time!
Lieutenant Dan will never be finished it's called a shop ornament hahaha
