What a wonderful demos. The works by Philipp von Hoeren and Friedrich Gatterman, in particular, are outstanding @orchestral tools - it sounds simply incredible. Bravo to everyone involved in the creation!
Of course, it would have been nice if a bass had been included, sampled with the same attention to detail, but if it reassures you or is enough of a compromise, there are also the First Chairs, which are less intended for solo use, but they also include a bass. You can purchase it separately to complement the Solo Strings if you are not using it grandly as a soloist but as a support for the cello. It is perfect for the latter.
I'm gonna agree with some of the comments, I'm sad there is no doublebass in it. It's hard to find a good bass and the only solo one you propose is the one from the First Chairs lib, and that lib has different sound and purpose. I'd gladly pay 100€ more for it in a big patch if it's added one day but I doubt that'll happen.
huuuu .... souds great, but .... No Bartok pizz , and no non vib long ? AND watching the demo, the CPU hits hard when 4tet is playing. I still don't understand how the dynamic layers works in Sine with long notes .... Modwheel ? how much layers ?
You can find information about layers on their website through the Support button at the bottom, then searching for a library. This library is brand new, so give it a few days
@@Broth3rz I was kinda being sarcastic. It’s a shame they didn’t include basses here although tbh the samples for violin, viola, and cello do sound better here in my opinion than the counterparts on “first chairs”
@@marcgw496 Without the basses, it's just too much money. I'm looking for the best 3 libraries of big, medium and small orchestra's right now, to layer of course. What would you recommend?
This is one of the best solo string collections I've heard so far as part of a larger collection.
Absolutely best in class now. What An incredible job. bought it straight away. Also very attractieve plans for 2025. Bravo Berlijn!
Ben jij Nederlands? Zo niet, dan heb je me voor de gek gehouden met je spelling van "Berlijn".
gout de chiotte

Thanks a lot! I really love this library 🎻❤
My Christmas just got a bit more extravagant - and me centric - and early!
Buyed instantly, thank you ❤
Beautiful library. Purchasing now :)
Beautiful sound
Thanks for my christmas present :)
I miss Sasha Knorr's demos =(
So Orchestral Tools is determined to make me go broke
This is so amazing and I'm getting it when I get paid Friday but as a composer and a bass player, I wish you guys had included a bass player.

@DJKLProductions I have it, and it definitely shows it's age. Supporting a cello has little interest to me

My poor wallet.
how does this compare to ni’s cremona quartet?
One day i should try it, even if it works with Sine Player.
on the website, system requirement is Mac OS 10.13 ( High sierra ) ? is it correct or do you mean Mac OS 13 ( Ventura )
I like the 2nd violin tone best
play me some damn arpeggios, fast, repeatedly. Why does not one library maker understand this yet?

And the double bass? 😅 just like the solo trombone in Beaufort, mysterious disappearances…
No bass? No thanks.
So there’s still a use for the “first chairs” library.
@@marcgw496 Alright.. Then what would be the difference from this release to the First Chairs release of Violins, Viola, and Cello?

Gosh darn it, Orchestral Tools! Brot3rz was a bass away from writing his career-defining masterpiece 😤
They have a lot of reverb
it was added artificially. The standard mic positions are very flexible
still so expensive and bad, not even speed!!! go instead to vsl
I think you meant ”so expressive and bold” ;)
IMO I would take OT over VSL any day
@@The_Rock_That_Floats no I meant big shit
