Hi Elaine, You can get the cubes through a Close To My Heart consultant by going to close to my heart website and then go to consultant locator to find one near you. Hope that helps They are called collage cubes.
Hello! I recently came across your channel and I absolutely love this!! I tried making it but I’m unsure about something. Do you have to add each picture piece by piece? I tried putting the full picture but it ended up cutting the tape that was securing the blocks together! Please help!!!
Are the cubes like a cardboard material? Or is it paper? Cause I would like it to be durable! Also, Do you know if like wood cubes would work for this project?
They are made of chipboard and are pretty sturdy. I think you can use wood but you need to consider how you adhere your paper/pictures to wood. The chipboard is easier to use with respect to adhereing paper and pictures to it. I found now two people in the US who can sell you the collage cubes if you want to email me so I can forward their info to you. kmskipper@shaw.ca
I do not see why not....I find the red liner tape super sticky and very strong. You could always tape two together and see after a few days if the tape holds up. Let me know how it goes!
Hey really nice! I would like to make one haha But wat the size of your photos n around how many photos you hav used ;) Hope i think make sth like yours haha
How do you put the pictures on without ruining the tape?! Cause you cut all the picture through all the way. And its impossible if you still want the block to work. Help
+Ava Chiu What I mean is that on some sides I uses a 4x4 picture to fit the space but cut it into 4 2x2 squares. There is one side (the longest one) where I used an 4x8 picture and cut it into 8 2x2 squares. Hope that helps!
Guys if u want to know how to make thes cubes easy make the origami water bomb and then improve on the creases so it look like a cube. It is very easy to do and there are tutorials for the water bomb all over youtube.
You are in luck....Close to my heart just put them on sale on our websites! if you live in the states go to ctmh.com and go to consultant locator and enter your zip code and you will find consultants near you with websites and you can order online and get them shipped to you. They are in the while supplies last sections on our websites. Good luck!
Where do you live? I have one set but I am in Canada. They just retired on January 31st but if you check my website under "while supplies last" it may eventually be there. Of if you live in the US you need to find a consultant and check on their website. my website is kathyskipper.ctmh.com.
Our prices are the same in US and Canada. They are $17 and then shipping. Where are you in California? I will be in there in March and June this year. I could mail it while I am down there as the shipping would be cheaper. Alternatively, you could try to see if you have a US consultant in your area that may have some on hand.
When do you need them by? I am going to the post office this weekend and I can let you know the total price for me to ship you my one set I have left over. E-mail me your address to kmskipper@shaw.ca. I do think is worth trying to find a consultant close to you who might have one. I will post in our bulletin boards for consultants to see if anyone may have one or can mail you one.
I do not know if you can make them from scratch out of card stock (paper) as they need to be sturdy. I bought them from a scrapbooking company but you might be able to find cubes such as wooden ones at a craft store. hope that helps.
Wong Jing Jing If you live in Canada, you can buy them off y website at www.kathyskipper.ctmh.com and then go to "shop" and then "while supplies last" and they are called collage cubes.
