I never thougth I would enjoy watching a man walking around on his bare feet banging on sticks and stones but you proved me wrong. Love your stuff man!!! Kinda wish I could do such things where I live.
You and primitive technology are the only two "primitive" channels worth watching. I hate those other ones where they build huge muddy swimming pools and other clickbait shit. Keep up the good work mate. Your videos are very relaxing to watch.
1)where are you in the world? 2) Are those rice bogs? 3) Where do you get your seed supply and how much is it? 4) How much did it cost for land? 5) How do you protect from hurricanes and heavy rains? 6)Who did you get to learn from?

Awesome how you can make a video this instructive and not say a word. I appreciate how you put the camera at the end of the bamboo pole to show that you notched and split it in a way that follows the natural bend of the pole. Thanks for the awesome content vids!

Great videos, without exception 🙂 Wonderful watching how you use the resources around you to bring projects to life. It’s a pleasure to watch your commitment to developing your vision of the space you live in, and how everything starts to connect together. Ignore the haters - negative people whose contribution only gets as far as ‘talking the talk’, ha! No human being has a monopoly on ‘primitive technology’ - the skills belongs to us all through our ancestors, and it’s great when they’re shared by someone who is also ‘walking the walk’. I like your thoughtful approach - the results are functional and beautiful! 🌿🌏🌘💚
I am not aware that they are in competition with each other. In fact, I don't think they are. This an is an almost daily vloger showing an on going major project of developing a self sustaining homestead in the tropics. PT only posts about once a month and has multiple projects of much shorter duration.
Wes Gore Awe poor guy get a little sensitive, way to act like a 7 year old brat. I can't wait to see what mature comment you have for me another person you will never ever see in person, you are pretty much a coward talking crap over the internet what a pathetic loser.
Well when it comes to content, and difficulty of these videos, and the frequency of new uploads, this guy is beating PT by a long shot Not only has he already conquered PT, his videos has shown he has 100x the knowledge PT does. Too me it isnt even comparable, and Ive been following PT for years saying all this. PT is out of his league when it comes to this guy and can learn a lot from him
Could you get some goats to keep the weeds and grass at bay as well as provide resources. Fence in the lot to prevent escape and fence the rice to prevent them from eating it.
No those are probably just a couple of weeks old. Those might even need re-planting as the gap per plant is too close which usually produces lower yields.
I've watched a lot of your videos and I think you are soo cool! Really wish I could do something like this, looks hard but fun and rewarding also. P.S: I like your longer videos and it would be great to see more of the land you are on
i hope one developer see those videos and produce survival game using his skills and items he produce letting us do it like him for the experience. Like the comment if you want a game as i said (like "green hell" but do it coop or mp)
Am looking forward to you taking rice bundles out of the one section and planting them in watery fields. For the mosquito warnings: many of our tropical fish tanks have fish that originated in foreign rice fields 'eating larvae'. They even have some called Rice Fish.
Actually there are more mosquitoes in urban area than in jungle because of predators like spiders, dragonfly and it's larvae, tadpoles and frogs...and the terrifying rove beetle and yes, it's larvae too. Most predator bugs larvae are deadly hunter to especially in water. Try go into dark basement or empty houses they'll be a cloud of mosquitoes swarming you. Also things that bites you in the jungle are not just mosquitoes but the less you know the better...for example the aforementioned rove bettle. Even our government hands out health warning regarding this predator bug... it's venom could peel off your skin.
Clive L in one of the fields will be going fish, he built a filter so the fish will stay in their pond while letting water still flow between the fields
The water goes into the small circular pond. That will house baby fish. The water spills out of this into the larger square pond around the circular pond. This will be a pond for larger fish. They will eat and poop into this pond, and the nutrients will then be carried across into the first growing field. (The pipe with the long rectangular squares is to stop the fish getting through) then the water is carried from field to field until it gets to the end and is drained away slowly via the last filter. After seeing rice paddies in action, this is a very well thought out plan.
if you are being held captive by the producer and you need out of the jungle and a pair of shoes give us a sign....say you make an automatic irrigation system that doesn't quite show its full potential and upload the video to youtube from your grass hut! We will be awaiting the signal!!
Can you please spend a whole day improving your tooling. Sharper stones and maybe a shovel or something for digging mud. Be less work for you and quicker to get content up

I think primitive technology is just a bit more professional.
Well thought out plan for irrigation
Great camera work in this video.
Could you get some goats to keep the weeds and grass at bay as well as provide resources. Fence in the lot to prevent escape and fence the rice to prevent them from eating it.
Brent Wood I doubt goats will eat the rice, they fear water.
That rice in the lower paddy is almost ready to eat, huh? :) Along with some steamed fish from that fish tank? That'll be the money video!
No those are probably just a couple of weeks old. Those might even need re-planting as the gap per plant is too close which usually produces lower yields.
We all stay online : thanks so much to share these moments !!
I love the tropics and all the resources it provides. lol

3:53 Did he pump the water source up at one end of the bamboo pipes? The pipes are installed quite high.
Probably just chose his camp location with a stream uphill.
Great work if you really live there.
@1:35 Had a pond now has a mosquito plantation.
I imagined 100 degree humidity sweating while scratching dirty bloodly mosquito bites. Then remembered that's the pool.
لا وال محمد وعجل على خير واحلام سعيدة وطول بالك من نفسك
Good job .....
Very very good
No frost
No cold wind
No snow and ice
No bears
Very good place for survive.
And pipework literally assembles itself out of the forest.
Ooo my gad that vary goOoOod nice gob
I'd like to see this farm beautiful like primitive life
What the last filter before drainage is for? Isn't there a filter for fish already build in to drainage tube between fish pond and plants bed?
The last lake before drainage seems to be for fish as well.
know aquatic fish farm , basically is the same
how long can these bamboo last under environmental weathering condition??
A while bamboo is one of the strongest wood
Ng Edwin takes a long to to decay probably a year or two
Really impressed, nice screen, can I know where do you live in VN ?
Nice work
That rice is coming in nice.
How did you get such a clean cut for the bamboo without using a saw?
How well will your earthenworks hold up in a wet season?
When would you be harvesting the rice, can't wait to see how you are going to process it. Thanks for the videos.
What do the 2 screens do you put in at the end?
i hope one developer see those videos and produce survival game using his skills and items he produce letting us do it like him for the experience. Like the comment if you want a game as i said (like "green hell" but do it coop or mp)
I need a diagram because I'm not sure which one is going to be the fish pond lmfao 😂 but good video as always

Muito legal
Verry skillful, I must say ! There is only 1 but... Bamboo doesn't grow all over the world... i.e. NOT in the Netherlands in the wild !!!
Katharina van Bommel any straight growing sapling that is 3in in diameter can be split down the middle then hollowed out to make the aqueduct.
Này ở vùng nào vậy ad?
Is there an angle grinder in the jungle background or some animal?
now thats some clean ass water
I dont get it. The whole system. Need a complete demo.
Yeah im also confused, i need a explanation

It may look primitive, but in modern day, you'd still need the land , government to do these things.
So when do you build a mowing machine and cut the lawn? :D
how are property taxes considering you live in a pond?
What is your camera ?
Can you please spend a whole day improving your tooling. Sharper stones and maybe a shovel or something for digging mud. Be less work for you and quicker to get content up
Hey can you grow in the forest without getting in trouble like idk
