It would be awsome if you put stones down everywhere to make the water clearer. But i understand that would be super difficult.
I hope youtube organize a competition among all primitive technology youtubers. First to make a civilization wins
I have the same opinion with you
-insert forgettable name- a whole new meaning to "go f*** yourself"
winner gets a bamboonium play button
ask mr.beast
Unfortunately that's impossible as the one thing they need that these guys will never be able to make is a girlfriend
I would suggest blocking off the water flow to the tunnel again once your field is somewhat dry. From there I would pack the tunnel full of dry wood and light it ablaze as the soil is mainly clay based with enough heat it will harden making the structure relatively structurally stable.
You could build a dam in front of the tunnel, let the area fill up with water, then break the dam and let the roof of the tunnel collapse in a controlled way. The power of the water would easily wash away the dirt from the tunnel roof. Then you would have an open drainage channel of which the sides could even be supported by bamboo for example as suggested by others to prevent further collapses of the sides. Would be less labour intensive I think then moving all the dirt by hand.
The drainage-tunnel HAD to collapse, hadn´t it?
Life´s cruel sometimes. At least you got another great video out of it :)
10:35 noticed an ant. Ant is gone now, all remember ant.
First off, you do amazing work and I'm very impressed with your dedication and designs.
On this tunnel, I called that this would happen in the video where you dug this. You need to prevent erosion by lining the tunnel walls with gravel/stone/wood/something. You also need to reinforce the tunnel roof with supports, as was suggested elsewhere in these posts.
Keep up the amazing work and don't get disheartened!
thanks, great ideas
Being he has access to bamboo (i guess) take large stems split down center (making two half's) knock out the diaphragms between the nodes, put back together and tie then place in tunnel (use more than one stem if necessary) and fill in the tunnel and you have pipes running though thus stopping erosion & collapse.
The tunnel is to narrow to support would have to be widen then can reinforce the tunnel with support and rocks would slow down the stream but if it is widen can place them there in the channel carrying the water away from his fields or fish ponds.
as a person who works in storm water drainage. all it takes is one good rainstorm for hours of work to turn to mooch and collapse. id suggest making some terracotta pipes about 90mm side by side at least 4 of them. wouldn't want you going back into there when the clay is still weak and having it collapse on ya. especially if you're out there alone. that's a good couple of tons of dirt there. i do enjoy watching your vids too! :)
You should build some timber supports inside the water tunnel
I am thinking of building solid to not collapse
At this point it may be better to let the rest of the tunnel collapse, dig it out and slope the sides... maybe add in some support so the sides don't collapse inwards again. Lot of work. The good thing is the tunnel couldn't ever block this way again and several tons of clay/dirt and a lot of rocks would be generated that could be used for building or levelling off other areas of land.
Yes, i think he should support the inner walls with bamboos. The ceiling might be tricky, though. An awesome alternative would be to cook a lot of bricks and build a tunnel with these.
It is also important to reduce the water speed, to avoid erosion of the soil. If it drains slowly it will lasts more.
Have you thought of lining the bottom of the tunnel with bamboo to act as pipes while you wait for the collapse? Also have some sort of removable mesh or screen to prevent large lumps of dirt from clogging up the bamboo pipes.
Might even go several layers high and let it go.
To Mikhael Ivanov, the water flowing through the tunnel is usually the same that is coming in from the other side of the area; not so much. It would only be a viable solution while it's raining, but then it would be dangerous, the walls being ready to collapse at any moment.
What I like best is there is no narration, no music, and most of all, no asking to subscribe!
Dig tunnel to an open trench. Build bridge. Easy to maintain and safer. I love watching what you do. Great job!
Grab some bamboo, cut out 2-segment lengths, stand them vertically and drop a coal in each. The coal will burn through the segment wall, making 3-4ft bamboo tubes. Lay them in the tunnel, stacked to the roof. Now when the mud collapses next time the bamboo tubes will keep the water flowing. You may also want to split some 20-ft lengths and lay them on the bottom of the tunnel to prevent erosion. Plants growing on the walls of the channel will keep the dirt secure, too.
10:30 Why is this shot so satisfying to me?
Обожаю истории с продолжением,как сказку смотришь
I'm impressed, can't wait for the next video.
I'm really glad you showed us this. Building things is neat, but showing how they are damaged or need upkeep is just as important, and interesting, as making them in the first place.
Primitive is correct..
Mad props to this guy digging dirt in the rain like no big deal!
Been watching a lot of these primative vids and with all the digging in dirt they do I gotta wonder. When are they gonna make a shovel?
in my opinion, your channel is the best of RUclips about Primitive Survival Techniques. Congrats Bro!
all, I can say is wow that is so good.
is it just me or do we need way more content :D i cant get enought of this guy :)
I keep coming back to see if he’s flooding or draining the front yard!
Pray for the ant that enters the scene @10:24 Died swallowed by the current; RIP lil Ant
11:15 is me after a spicy curry
You should raise the tadpoles
hopefully he always has Angels on his side, because sometimes the Rainforest is harmful...
im so happy that you put (drainage tunnel) in brackets like this, otherwise i might not have understood what the two words before were referring to...
drainage tunnel (drainage tunnel)
This channel is so amazing.
In Russia, alongside rivers and streams, trees, bushes and other plants are planted. And it helps, the shore is less washed away and it becomes stronger!
For the tunnel to collapse was kind of to be expected without supports and water erosion.
At some point a final collapse will make him clear the way once and for all!
But I kinda get why he wouldn't do it all in one go without even a shovel!
Nice camera work! Very beautiful.
凄い!
I love the footage, the pacing and that there isn't a know how to explain everything.
The quality of your video is on point man
Love this vid
Why I like this kind of videos?
vvvv good man
Отлично)))
да !
I love your camera work!!! :)
One of the best channels on RUclips!
thanks
I can hear Primitive Life's rooster crowing in the background :-)
Very good
with this much earth works, I wonder how effective a wooden bladed shovel would be. carve the blade from a tree stump maybe. some kind of handle maybe from a different tree. but for loosened soil, I Think it'd work great. the digging bar/stick to looen though...
Hollow out 10 - 20 large bambo shafts and lay them through the hole and then back fill the hole. Similar to how the stop bever dams in america filling up. Good work digging it all out a second time though.
You are Rambo, my friend!
Some new video styles . Good.
very good
nic good veidiu
I come back after a week and you've flooded the garden!?
I would rather put a bamboo pipe down that that tunnel. the tunnel will collapse again
Or maybe some basic tunnel supports
I was thinking about a cement pipe a big one, or maybe if he made a pipe from burnt clay. Potterypipe will probably be the easiet because of all the clay everywhere.
Wouldn't the pipe break or crack under the weight of all the dirt?
I'm thinking of building solidly
depends of the size of the thing, and maybe make big sections. That's why my first thought was about cement pipes.
Good
Tremenda calidad
good
WARNING TO EVERYONE:
building a tunnel like this is very very dangerous because the dirt can fall down, and if anyone is under it, he/she will hurt itself or die
That gravelly soul is perfect for jem stones like ruby, sapphire etc, I would sift it all 😎😎😎
We you love
cooool
Love the work ethic! I am afraid that unless you find a way to support that roof of the tunnel, you may be clearing it out again soon...
Just get some long bamboo biggest diameter you can find and use it for a pipe also through the opening. If it collapses again oh well the pipe till still drain. Correction bamboo pipe that is. Keep up the great work sir!!

bake some shells from snails to produce lime, and throw that stuff in water to create a mortar like stuff that becomes stronger over time, surely that would reinforce the tunnel roof. but you could also try running some sticks thru the dirt to keep the roof stable.
overtime it will corrode and then it collapse and that's why you need to add some support on the sides of it then the wall will have nothing to hold them up and where you you have lot of clay and dirt. clay and dirt corrode real easily. to prevent from caving in so you don't have to do more work
I think that this video made clear that he's not living out there.
you should build some retention walls for that sloped wall before the tunnel. Perhaps with tall bamboo buried deep in the ground to hold back the soil
Should lay flat rocks down along the base of your waterway right up to your drain and through it to naturally make watercress. And maybe a pond before the drain to tunnel to prevent corrosion.
Good job
thank you
What about making some cement piping about 4-5inch diameter cover the pipe with some bamboo then put the dirt back on top
You know your area better than we do but to me, it appears you set up shop in a dry riverbed that's aching to be wet again. Will this flood again? Surely you wouldn't go through the trouble of staking a hut down in it?!?(lol) --- anyways, always looking forward to your videos.
Making some piping from bamboo would give the water a stable channel without letting the dam erode
Plumbing projects are always a mess. Nice job.
Great channel! Might I ask where you learned to do most of the things that you've done from? Just curious.
I love your camera, what is it?
Where have u been? Ive been waiting ur next video for a week
Efan Fisher he’s been digging a damn hole didn’t you see
me too, i was looking since last Friday.
zigzagzarf 😂😂😂
Hey get a lot of rocks in there the about a foot deep so if it falls in it will land on the rocks but the water will be able to flow though it still
European: I'll build a primitive shovel to dig. That's hard, but then all the work will be much easier!
Asian: I'll dig with a dig-stick long enough to do what i want. Isn't it the easiest way?!
👍👍👍. ✌️😎
hết trò đi bắt nòng nọng chơi :))
wow
First mah boi
thanks
To me, as it collapses, let it hollow out completely.. could do the bamboo "pipes" to help channel water, or, later enough above, to the sides and below, you could still have the tunnel... itd just last as long as the bamboo avoids rotting away perhaps... the pipe way with bamboo may be the easiest. I hope you find the route you want to go :)
Are you . Wise . I love you
Zalalo cie jak stadion narodowy
Please build chicken hut I am very interested 2 see that u building it☺️☺️☺️☺️😊😊😊😊
Друг, не делай бамбук, как тебе советуют. Лучше поискать много плоских камней и из них сделать отверстие квадратной формы.
oh wow. I hope that didn't kill you're crops.
💓
That tunnel has done what it was built for, getting rid of redundant water, and now it's just dangerous. Tear it down and build an open air canal for the water. You can maybe just jump over the canal or build a little bridge. Please don't go through that tunnel again hehe!
10:35 the *Ant* is dead Rest in Peace
more plz
I don’t mean to sound pedantic, but this tunnel failure was quite obvious. The coluvial soil is rather unstable and a culvert would have been a better solution.
You can take those tadpoles and grow a frog farm for meat =)
Oh no it collapsed!! 😱

hi
Great idea I have 1 take some bamboo and make drainage pipes then fill in the area around the pipes. 2nd build a dam so you con alternate the depth of the water in the field.
SouthernWulf Extra, bamboo would always clog, mud, leaves and rocks in tiny pipes.
eavening depending on the width of the bamboo.
Look at this location
The water was flowed from the moutain/higher land to the lower land since the world was borned
Water is flood over because the dam block the water flow
Who make the dam , the dam come from where ?
If this dam is nature dam , it is a large dam , over the dam should be lake
This guy need to planting then he was maked the tunnel for drain the water from the lake
The tunel was collaps , he try to repair the tunel again
Keep the dam there and try to find the new location beside the lake which without water flood over
I thought when he was first digging it should have been a drainage trench not a tunnel.
👍
