- I have received several challenge photos or tutorials of projects you guys are asking me to do a tutorial on, I love doing that and I still have a few to come. This one was a really fun one to figure out and I hope you enjoy it, it could be used for any occasion!
Measures and Scores:
A2 card base 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/2 folded in half.
3 inch x 11 inch patterned paper for gift bag scored at
1/2, 1, 5, 5 1/2, 6. 10, 10 1/2 inches
Score on the 3 inch side at 3/8 of an inch up from the bottom.

This is a cute adorable personal card for anyone getting a gift card for whatever reason. Man or woman boy or girl. To give a gift card for someone inside a card you made yourself is brilliant and the receiver will love it.
This year I'm giving cash to my grandchildren, so love this bag idea and will use it for the bag full of money inside the card!!!

Our God sure works in mysterious ways. I literally had spent over an hour researching this exact technique the night you posted this. It was exhausting. The only thing I found was the WRMK Pop-Up Gift Bag die (06-03-15), but no tutorial on how to do this without their die set. Thank you so much and my arthritic hands thank you even more. Praying our God will continue to give you this type of engineering wisdom.

Maymay, If you look at some bags, there is a piece of coordinating paper to reinforce the handles just like you did with the washi. I love this idea! I'm making one for a baby shower at work. Thanks for figuring this out😊

I would like to make cards but I'm still trying to build up some supplies and I have a lot of birthdays and miscellaneous cards to send and the $1.88 box sets of cards at Walmart are actually decent quality for a cheap set of 12 so I stocked up on those but now I'm going to embellish them with little gift bags to make them cute for the gift cards :)
