    Thanks for all the help Jeff! I was bare shaft tuning this evening and robin hooded a fletched arrow with the bare shaft at around 15 yards. They’re flying pretty good out of the Hermit!

    Hi, Jeff I contacted three rivers archery and asked about the traditional only 500 arrows having a slightly weaker side and they said yes! and may need minimal tuning. I told them I bend tested them. And found that to be true. They confirmed they are seamless. Really great arrows.

    I agree. I wound up at 30.5", 280 grains, 42#@29" with this same 500 spine arrow. Bow cut 3/16" past center.

    Love bare shafting...some of my practice sessions are shooting bare shafts only....my best bare shaft setup ,to date, was using a 350 shaft with 400 up front...614 gn arrow...great groups out to 40 yards...tight groups at 25 yards even in a brisk wind....tail whipping yet, impact on the mark.

    Hi, Jeff great video!! I have been using the traditional only 500 for two years great arrows! i was bend testing them with a bar clamp home made arrow tester and mark them. They do bend a little bit more on one side i have noticed. When i mark this side and shoot mark out they have turned great but if i turn the nock off of my mark they bare shaft a little weaker!!

    Jeff Phillips, Hello sir, I loved this clip on the ICS seamless arrows. I have a 28" draw and shoot pretty straight, but I want the perfect "kill" shot every time (like your shots).
    I have a blackhunter 48# (which I love) and a Satori 54# which I struggle with. (I can shoot a few shots before my arm tires) I bought it second hand because they ordered a 45#, and could not pull 54#s. I plan to buy 40-45# limbs so that I can enjoy this bow also.
    My questions are
    1) How long an arrow should I be shooting with?
    2) what brand limbs due you recommend for my Sartori?
    3) Should I stick with Sartori limbs? (They are pricey...)
    Your opinion would be welcomed and appreciated.
    God bless,
    Geo-

      @instinctiveaddictionarcher8998  3 месяца назад

      Yes sir, you will probably want around a 29-30” arrow (cut to cut) and there are several great limb options out there for a very good price that really perform like Ssnlida, Toparchery, Nika N3 and some others that are not expensive!

    • @instinctiveaddictionarcher8998
      @instinctiveaddictionarcher8998  3 месяца назад +1

      For some reason you have to run fletchings with a broadhead to counter steer the arrow, even a perfect bare shaft will go crazy with a broadhead alone on it which actually steers it and it’s something that just doesn’t work lol

    Do you use lighted nocks for hunting? If so, do you use them in the rain?
    Many people said that lighted nocks were unreliable, they said lighted nocks sometimes lighted up and sometimes didn't, and they also said lighted nocks introduced shooting errors. Do you think they work reliably?
    Thank you.
