Thanks so much for coming up with this capo "campfire" version of this song. The proper John Lennon version from the recording uses no capo and all barre chords way up and down the neck and is VERY difficult to replicate even for high level experienced guitarists. This version sounds great and makes this song accessible to everyone using basic chords.
Lauren you are great guitar instructor! You take your time and make it simple to learn. I started playing guitar in 1967, I watched Ricky Medlocke before he made it big with the groups Blackfoot and now with Lynerd Skynerd. He taugt me the G,C and D chords. He said I could play a lot of rock and country songs with these chords. I'm now 72 years old and have 5 guitars, 3 electric and 2 box guitars they are Gibsons and Fenders . Keep up the good work, I'm never to old to learn more knowledge of the art of guitar playing. Take care and may God bless you!
I am going to have a blast adding Lauren’s strumming patterns to my skill set. I’ve been a 40 year finger picker and improving my strumming has been exciting.
Oh that's awesome. I have an entire strumming course actually. If you want to check it out, you can read more here: www.laurenbatemanguitar.com/strumming
@@LaurenBateman It embarrasses me to say I could hardly strum at all as I concentrated on fingerpicking & doing nice ascending/descending chord changes & chord melodies. Now that I’ve gotten to be an actually very good strummer with help from you & PRACTICE, I can even sing too, which before I couldn’t while strictly fingerpicking. Lousy voice, but I’m crooning!
Love the tube radio! Similar to the radio that I first heard The Beatles "All My Loving." Clear description of what constitutes triplets on guitar. Subscribed!
Gr8 tutorial for classic early Beatles tune, thank U so much As a 74 yr old would be/wanna be enthusiast, can remem when those early albums were cut, and in fact, have most of them on vinyl😊
Great lesson Lauren! It’s great that you give alternative strumming patterns because Lennon’s strumming was crazy insane! Mike Pachelli on RUclips does a actual breakdown of this song and Lennon is just unreal. I think it may been labeled ( The Genius of John Lennon). The song was so intimidating to me until you broke it down! Thanks again for all your help!
There's actually a young boy with an authentic Rick325 who only says "just play this part fast" but doesn't show how even though he can demonstrate it for us perfectly.
By george, you've got it. This is the info I've been searching for about Lennon's swingy, Irish gallop played on his electric. Why is it so hard to find anybody who wants to teach rhythm patterns in music? It's like it's illegal to do so.
Hi Lauren when I met you few days ago you’re like my family now omg. Everyone I associate to Guitar teacher becomes my family. New Subscriber here. My fifth grade teacher had always taught me get to know each other introduce yourself. I used to be the type of mocker to people that I don’t know who you are. I feel the same thing I don’t want others to tell me I don’t know you that’s embarrassing my teacher has taught me. Good job. I’ll use this lessons when I’m not busy with my studies and pending covers.
Thank you, Nida for the recommendation. I get lots of song requests so I cannot guarantee that I will get to it, but I will definitely add it to my list.
Can you please do a tutorial video for Bm'Chord and F'chord 🙏🙌 I think this two is soo hard for bigginers. If u can show easy tips for that, it would be more helpful to bigginers like me ❤️
Sorry about the needy, insecure comments before concerning someone else performing my songs. I am playing my guitar,& intend to become proficient @ it enough to play the songs for myself! I believe that is what you would want me to do anyway!( Or why else learn guitar, right?) P.S. Bought a strap & a capo!!

Yes, be dynamic. Make it yours.

John Lennon stummed it extremely fast, its what brought the song to life.
Thank you for watching!
Wow lovely 😍 ahhhhhhhhh
Thank you
Hello Lauren! What's with us with electric guitars, without capo? We can only play transponded chords?
You can use a capo
@@LaurenBateman Any particular reason for not using the original key?
Hello maam good morning, your best teacher tutorial,, can i request a song ,,Lord im nothing without you by lifebreakthough..thanks and Godbless♥️🙏
Thank you, Nida for the recommendation. I get lots of song requests so I cannot guarantee that I will get to it, but I will definitely add it to my list.

Where I can see you playing all the song
Not live yet

Awesome!
I tried the fast triplets, I can do it with my thumb, but when I used the pick, it flew into the air and hit me in the face :) I'll keep it simple.
Forgive my ignorance... Can you explain ahain why you need to use a capo and how do you know which fret to place it.
Sorry
Search Lauren Bateman how to use a capo
@@LaurenBateman Thank you Lauren..... Very helpful.
Appreciate the fact you always respond to my query.
Keep smiling

Yep 😃

Why would you not teach students correctly?? Beatles no capo... Beatles F sharp minor
Because it doesn't have to be perfect. It's has to be fun.
