Is it possible to do this effect on a non moving image, I’m having trouble getting the displacement to work on a stagnant non moving image without the transform node

also one Tipp to get e linear nodetree. use the Elipse on a Brightness Contrast node and activate the Alpha :) Way better for a straight Flow so you dont need to plug the Elipse in the media in. But that ist just how i like to do it

But if you color your Noise and use the Luma as a displacement you could have just got a BW Noise. using color for the Displacement is only usefull if you use it for displacing stuff with greater control like displacing stuff left or right depending on the Color of your map ;) But anyway buddy i really like your tutorial. ye Im on win11, honestly perforamce doesnt feel any better than win10 but keep in mind I run a 5900X and RTX 3070 with 32gb ram, so it might differ for you. I just like the aesthetic of win11 so I decided to get it
