People hate on RAM/Dodge for long term reliability but if you’ve owned one that’s not a work truck, you know they’re the nicest driving trucks (accelerating, cruising, stopping, interior noise, all of it). My Durango had 160k miles, my 2009 ram had 88,000 miles, and my 22 is sitting at 18 currently.

A lot has to do with the supply chain issues that Biden/Harris caused in 21/22 with their policies, and the subsequent inflation. I don't know if America can survive another 4 years like this?
On my second Ram now (2015) 135,000 miles and it's been flawless. Hunting, logging roads, fishing, pulling travel trailer. Not all easy miles either. Really tossed up between the 2025 Ram 1500 rebel or sport vs. 2025 Sierra AT4.

Have a 2022 Limited Night Edition. Two main things keep me from upgrading. The first one is the fact that there is no RAM box delete option for these (unless you go with the bigger bed). That is a deal breaker. I dont like the narrow bed visual, would never use the boxes, and dont want to lose the cargo space. Second is this is a night edition, yet they havent added any black accents to the tail lights, as with the prior year model. Yes. ben. Probably the best truck in the segment right now...based on 2019 design. Thats how ram leapfrog ford and chevy. Chevy has to do a 2 year refresh cuz the ram interiir was so good. And then for had to redesign their dash midcycle because they need a bigger screen like the ram. So they now copied the exhaust bumper design and coil springs as well. If yoyr a truck guy u know...if your a lemming. U buy ford cuz they told u it was good. Like trumper ignorance. Just lack of knowledge...
It's okay, but nothing special, really. They keep putting cheap, gimicky crap in it, like that passenger side screen that no one will ever use (and it looks ridiculous), and it's definitely not worth anywhere near what they're asking for it. Between that and the loss of the Hemi, I'm gonna have to give it a hard pass. With the way these manufacturers are all going, you'd almost be better off getting an older truck, like a square body or something, and fixing it up to be exactly what you want. It'll be everything you want and need, it'll be reliable, and it'll cost maybe a third of what they want for this thing.
23% increase is from the import tax. The import should be paid by the dealership but since nobody knows this the dealership's are putting the import tax on all vehicles.
Yeah why would anyone want an engine that is lighter, has more horsepower, more torque , is quicker, is smooth as silk, very quiet and has better gas mileage?
@ the power could be replicated by forced induction or updated HEMI. Don’t care how smooth and quiet it is in a truck, most would prefer a raucous personality in this application. Mileage is the same unless it’s towing where it’s worse. The engine is the wrong fit for the application. I drove one and absolutely hated it. Zero personality. No noise. No fun. Worst test drive I’ve ever had.
@@JasonJonathan78 I have not driven one yet, so you have me there, but every review I have seen has been positive. These are high end luxury trucks, they are not meant to be “raucous”. Understand that this truck is not for you, there are plenty of choices for you, but to say it is a miss is wrong. Ford’s twin turbo six has been around for years and has been well received. Hey we have to agree it’s better than some EV piece of crap in a truck.
@ I was speaking more in terms of the RAM in general. Yes this is the luxury model and the buyer demographic may be slightly different. But not completely. Sorry ram😢 my hemi has a tick! Bad cam lobe....bad inserts 😢now I'm looking at other trucks😢I've owned ram for over thirty years...I was warned about the hemi😢don't let your hemi idle...never😢 dodge, fix the problems 😮
Ram doesn’t invest in software updates. They just move on. Not worth the hassle.
Yes.
Get a haircut
It's okay, but nothing special, really. They keep putting cheap, gimicky crap in it, like that passenger side screen that no one will ever use (and it looks ridiculous), and it's definitely not worth anywhere near what they're asking for it. Between that and the loss of the Hemi, I'm gonna have to give it a hard pass. With the way these manufacturers are all going, you'd almost be better off getting an older truck, like a square body or something, and fixing it up to be exactly what you want. It'll be everything you want and need, it'll be reliable, and it'll cost maybe a third of what they want for this thing.
Anything stellantis is a hard pass
My first year 19 is solid as a rock and drives like new. 123k. No recall letters. No repair after warranty. Original brakes
Poor David just crying online like a kid
Ram needs to stop that volume knob shifter. But that interior is still the best.
Stellantis product; not gonna do it.
I see why those trucks are selling slow. They will be offering $16-20k off for rebates and incentives!
As ford and chevy already are
WTF! That price is crazy. No way in hell will I pay even 50k for that truck!
American's car has nice taste in design but bad for long term use...I hope their almost bankruptcy experience made changes
for another $7k, i rather get a 2500 at4
I paid 70k for my '20 Denali 2500 Duramax. No way any 1/2 ton is worth more. Especially with only 1100lbs payload.
Dial shifter and auto start/stop need to go
Yes. Let's keep an acient stick that connects to an electrical switch so we can stay simple minded. Ignorant
Ever you say?
for 90K you can keep it
difference in 2021 to 2025 has bidenomics included in the price!
23% increase is from the import tax. The import should be paid by the dealership but since nobody knows this the dealership's are putting the import tax on all vehicles.
I will get a used one in a year not going to pay that for nothing.
88K 😂😂😂😂😂😂 man please!!!!!
Sick of the hyperbolic titles and you never backing them up. Go back to the old way.
Price is off by $10k.
Ok , best truck ever with a 6 cylinder twin turbo ....🙄
I hope it will go further than 100k miles......
Nobody wants these things without a V8. Doesn’t matter how good the 6 cylinder is, it has no business in a RAM truck.
I understand. the v8 hemi is a beautiful and obedient machine, it won my heart over
Yeah why would anyone want an engine that is lighter, has more horsepower, more torque , is quicker, is smooth as silk, very quiet and has better gas mileage?
I’m a truck owner/buyer and I work with tradesmen, and none of them are happy about the six cylinder nor are any of them interested in purchasing one. YMMV.
That payload is atrocious 🤦🏽♂️
Why can't get Night edition with Tungsten
Not sure
Tungsten is more luxury, night edition is more of a sporty look
They are taking 10 to 15k off
Exterior looks like 60k truck
Interior looks like 80k truck
and your wallet got 40k
