What a visceral 14 minute journey this video is. I think this movie and the music are a testimate to just how amazing art can be, when done correctly. And also, just how necessary it is to the human experience. The way they captured the raw emotions and make you feel such achey, melancholic lows, and then so eloquently build you back up with such vivid and incredible layers of emotions. I’ve watched this video many times now, and I currently find myself watching it whilst in the throws of a very enjoyable mushroom trip, and I’ve got to say that this video and Oppenheimer as a whole, is the absolute pinnacle of what film was meant to be for humans. The casting, directing, cinematography, and musical excellence, make this one hell of an emotional and artistic accomplishment. But what do I know? I’m just a guy on mushrooms. 🍄 However, I will say that I believe I’m correct in my assessment. Cheers.
I was in my class last Friday, my professor was very chill he let us wear headphones in the class, he called me up to the board to write my solution to the problem, this masterpiece was blasting in my ears as I am writing my solution up there on the chalk board. Best 2 minutes of the entire year.
Ashton, After having a pause of 5 years, I listened to your orchestration and I must say, I am overwhelmed of your track! This is such a fantastic work ! Thanks, this is just amazing ! Go ahead with your fantastic work.
I haven't even seen Oppenheimer yet but listening to this for first time, burst into tears. Weird sort of melancholy mixed with optimism. Amazing how music can do that
Wow, I have watched this video half a dozen times, and each time it gets better. Thank you for sharing your ideas! It is heartbreaking to watch the Real Oppenheimer saying,” Now I become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” He looked so broken and spiritually destroyed. Kudos!
Agree, James Horner's Braveheart score is my very favorite of them all, but Interstellar is top 5. Ludwig Goransson is such a great young composer. I feel like in the future he will be what Horner, Zimmer, John Williams, etc. have been which is invaluable to the movie business. He's already on his way there with these amazing pieces he wrote for Oppenheimer.
I perceived that it was a great compilation of the Oppenheimer soundtrack, not just as a string of events of the drama, but as a monologue of the character, presenting composure and profoundness . Thank you, Ashton Gleckman .
I couldn't imagine how I got addicted to such music. The mind is completely glued to this masterclass of Oppenheimer. I would have heard 100 times in a single day. 00:51 to 3:12 and 9:08 to 10:44. Peak of music 9:48
Wow. This is an absolutely wonderful arrangement. I have completely worn out every movement of the Oppenheimer score, and yet you somehow managed to extract the marrow of the score’s soul and present the music in a way that essentially makes it feel new again. The portion from 3:16 to 4:45 is truly incredible, worthy of a Hollywood movie trailer. While I can only speak for myself, I think we can all agree, this is what we come here for. Cheers, my friend.
We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and, to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.
Out of curiousity, why'd you leave out Can You Hear the Music / Quantum Physics theme? Also, how long did it take you to make this mockup? It is super well done! A 'behind the scenes' of this will be awesome 😁
You don’t get to commit the sin and then ask all of us to feel sorry for you when there are consequences. Pull yourself together, you know people depend on you.
I'm completely blow away and my hairs are still standing on my 🪿 goosebumps could you please do an extended breakdown or just share the midi files and which instruments you used. I would love to learn from your amazing midi orchestration.
Your music was very successful in this movie that turned humanity's greatest invention into a huge drama! Hans Zimmer should have composed the music for this movie!
Truly one of the most beautiful musical pieces for cinema ever written.
Somebody wanted to have nice clip, but misused the tones in the clip. ;)
@@badmaniak ?
It's true. It's wonderfull
I'm happy that this film along with its Motion Soundtrack won some Academy Awards as deserved!!!
This music reminds me what an outstanding work of cinematic art Oppenheimer is. It is indeed transcendental.
Goosebumps. Like belong to different worlds..
This movie will go down as one a cinematic masterpiece. It is amazing how much was included in a 3 hour long film and still felt lile 2h30
Read the book American Prometheus, u won't regret.

I was anticipating this from you soon after my first screening of the film. Can't wait to hear your work on this one, Ludwig's score was incredible.

Genial composición e interpretación a la altura del guión y su actor principal Cillian Murphy, fenomenal caracterización.
