children have had tree houses, club houses, fortresses, tea rooms, and personal spaces, i suspect, since the beginning of time. we all had them or we created them. the kitchen is open concept, therefore you can cook WHILE interacting with guests or family. yes, the home seems rather austere initially, but once you fill that space with actual people it will come alive.
I dont know about you guys, but that pod bed thing is awesome, designed for a kid or not. Id use it. It looks so cozy and safe. The living room looks pretty cool as well. Im not a fan of the kitchen. I think it looks ugly and reminds me of the "retro future" look of the 50's. This guy is really closed minded, isnt he? And ill informed on what people want it seems like. Hes allowed to have his own opinions, but he seems to "tunnel visioned" on his own.

ill just watch as the future changes and people are gonna start making their own porn systems and the parents will allow their kids to watch porn. like in 80's and 90's when 2 people kiss on television everyone was like "ahhh" and "omg" and now in 2013 kids watch porn and when they turn into a teenager, they have sex. see how this future is changing? at least thats what happens at where i live.
TERRAN0ID, ye agree.. he talks too much but doesnt show the actual house, full features... For example i liked some ideas, and they are goona be present cuz they already exist, apparently, duh... Also he has a what i would say old-time taste wheer its all antique, and thus he comments on his taste which is incorrect. Of course i would like to have a plant here and there... But if you watched Stargate Atlantis, well, thats the design i wanna have in my house, cuz its mixed...
very nice house, I can't understand why he speak such nonsense given that 60% of Americans live for their work and not pay attention to their children and do not eat healthily ... its so sad
