Glad I found your Channel couple weeks ago. Me and my 9 yr daughter were looking for a hobby to do together when we had to stay in doors and your channel really peaked her interest and she just bought herself a Panzer 4 Ausf.J from Tamiya for her first model. And as for the Music, I may like metal, But Classical is the best for these types of videos.
Really Really Nice Andy, the rail car came out Great! I was surprised at how few parts there were and how detailed it still looked afterwards! Thanks again for sharing! Joe
Andy, Heyos! I built the Tamiya StuG IIIB as a research kit for a 1/16 RC version of it and I did the open hatches in elfenbein. This was shown in photos in the 2 vol. series on the StuG III by Muller and Zimmerman. I think your kit turned out great!
I really enjoy watching your videos Andy. You make the whole process look so easy, which is a sure sign of a very experienced and talented model maker. Anyway you've inspired me to have a go at a diorama. Something I haven't done in twenty plus years. Greetings from Tasmania Australia by the way. Dan
I just bought this kit on Ebay for under $40.00 ,i got lucky because these are hard to find and always expensive. The best ww2 German railroad cars i have ever seen or bought are made by Sabre, these are far beyond anything out there and are museum quality all the way.
I think your tank looked much better with the hatches painted white Andy. I understand that most white interior we see today is a repaint for museums, but it just looks better as a model.. act as an accent I guess. Similar to how some people paint OVMs wood/metal, when most of these were simply painted with dark yellow.
I thought so too but wanted to make it as accurate as I can possible, I searched on Google for awhile and couldn't find one with white hatches , I guess it makes sense too , if you open a hatch and a big white target to shot at. Thanks for watching.
Cool wood grain tutorial on how u make wood grain. How much does the I think u said it was a older low part count Dragon kit like the one in this video cost to purchase ?
You did a beautiful job of making the wood look like brown wood. But every flatcar I've ever seen had a terribly battered, splintered and weathered deck, and weathered wood is a silvery gray, not brown -- think the color of driftwood. Wood oxidizes just like metal does, does but just in the opposite way. Oxidized steel turns brown, oxidized wood turns silver. The only place brown would be exposed is in new scratches and splinters. Just an observation from a railroad modeler. I use diluted India ink to weather the wood decks of gondolas and flatcars.
Andy I used your method for thinning Tamiya paints in the bottle.was spot on!Do you have the rail car kits in your store ? I have Iwata Hp Cs just purchasedWorks like a dream.
Hey Andy I know you run a model store and all, but how would you suggest that a regular viewer like me who wants to get into the hobby acquires all of the Tamiya paints?
yes I know it crazy ,It does come with the loading bridge , it would look cool loading . I have scene photos of the two wheel truck ssy carrying Tigers. late war but if that's all you have and you need to move a TIger. lol
Hi, no I usually do it for just the fun and I usually working at the store wheb they happen , but I started my own model show which we run every February near my store .Canyon State Modelcon

I'm wondering if Dragon and Trumpeter rail cars can fit on either company's rail tracks
Hey Andy, I bought this set railroad car. Any advise how to paint the tracks and the mount they are on? Could use some assistance. Thanks.
This was uploaded very quickly from the last one. :)
yeah was working on it while doing the other video and that kit is very simple mostly painting, thanks for watching.
Could you possible build a 1/35 scale Panzer II Ausf L Luchs :) ?
Is there a video for the complete diorama? I haven't been able to find it.
Cool wood grain tutorial on how u make wood grain. How much does the I think u said it was a older low part count Dragon kit like the one in this video cost to purchase ?

I normally do just ran out will have them back in next week.
Very nice work! But I have one question: How come you use XF-69 over XF-1 as a shadow coat?
I use xf69 because it looks like rubber so I don't have to go back and paint road wheels.
Hey Andy I know you run a model store and all, but how would you suggest that a regular viewer like me who wants to get into the hobby acquires all of the Tamiya paints?
Hi , well depending on where you live most good hobby stores sell Tamiya's line of paints if not there are lots of online seller that will sell TAMIYA
Did you dull coat before decals ?
yes
Another great video , do you have a part number for this as I'm struggling to locate it in the uk ? Thanks
Adrian Pashby cyber hobby 9118 has the car and panzer iv k

So are the SSY and SSyms different heavy flat railcars?
I believe the ssyms is super heavy for like the tiger . it has a three wheel truck on bottom
Andy's Hobby Headquarters ok that makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Great looking SSY!
I just ordered some two might do a tiger on one.
Andy's Hobby Headquarters I was thinking of one for my Sturmtiger, but I couldnt get over the fact it cost twice as much as the tank!
yes I know it crazy ,It does come with the loading bridge , it would look cool loading . I have scene photos of the two wheel truck ssy carrying Tigers. late war but if that's all you have and you need to move a TIger. lol
You forgot to chalk the tank on the train
You keep on saying at times about spraying model with Dull Coat. Can you show or link what brand of dull coat you use
hi I use Tamiya ts80 or Testors dull coat both in a can , ihave to go outside to spray them because they are so strong.
what psi do you airbrush at?
I usually go about 22 psi
Thank you
