My second teaser from my next Trilogy Build the Deathbringer a Reaver-Berserker warrior. This time it's Dragon Age 2, and facing the Arishok in a duel.
Whenever I play as a warrior Hawke, I always dread this boss fight. Really tough as a Warrior Hawke is significantly weakened due to not having the support of a mage and rouge.
I still remember my first time fighting this boss, i was playing as a double dagger rogue, but had a rushing mind of a teenager back then, so i never took notice of gear dropping so when i had to fight him, i was still using my lvl 1 daggers from the beginning of the game, needless to say, that fight took a looooooong time with lots of running and hiding in them mix.
Thanks for the video, your videos reminds me of the classic era of Dragon Age. Just wondering, do you know of a channel called Arelex? He used to upload DA2 videos but he has been inactive for nearly a decade now. He uploads party combat on some of the toughest fights in DA2. I was wondering if you could do something like that.
@@MrPawsPause Same. Thanks to his videos, I realize how a Sword-and-Shield Hawke can demolish the toughest enemies in seconds. Same with an Archer Hawke. I never realized how powerful Hawke can be until I saw his videos.
@@AKisHerceg (I responded earlier but somehow it didn't get posted). Awesome! Hope it gives you an idea on what to create next for DA2 videos. :) He didn't make that many videos in retrospect but his guides/tips were very popular a decade ago. He made quite the popular threads in the Bioware forum back in the days.
@@AKisHerceg I shall seek that video out. Personally never played rogue Hawk out of fear to make him too weak and fragile on nightmare with friendly fire. ouch.. On the other hand, on paper 2 handed warriors seems powerful. Yet in practice looks a bit sloppy and slow here.
warrior is the one i've never actually entirely played through in dragon age 2. i wanted to see if a build like this would work for sword and shield some time though.
Because it is next to useless against the Arishok. The only time you can reliably use it is when he is stunned. Otherwise you can Barrage all you want, he will just knock you down with every hit. Or Impales you. So I found it the most reliable way to beat him fast is to buff up and smack him with Whirlwind and Mighty Blow. Against crowds, I use Barrage all the time and it works great. But against the Arishok it fails badly.
Damn brother you are cooking! Again I can’t wait for the full trilogy! Keep up the good work!

I actually found this fight to be the easiest on my warrior
Did he....did the Arishok knock over one of his own guys with his charge? I did not know that could happen!
Yay. I love the warrior vids especially for dragon age.

Same, but I also only upgraded strength. I lost so many potions to this fight
When in doubt, kite 'em with the columns 😆 Loved watching this!
Chad vs Chad
The real chads are the two pillars in the room that make this fight even remotely possible
Looked like you were toying with him the entire match, made for a fun video though.

No, I was not aware of that channel. I will check it out later. :)
Arelex was the go to for my DA2 tips back in the day. Damn close to a decade ago!

curious. Can the weapon and shield templar or rogue hawk can solo the arishok faster or better?
A rogue Hawke? Definitely! My Assassin killed him in less than 20 sec.

Fighting the Arishok as a warrior is the hardest. Fighting him as a mage or rogue is far easier.
@@marcomongke3116 Go with Archer Hawke
@neansath nahh, i dont like playing as archer types. I prefer up close melee builds. Done it with a mage with a lot of running around like here.

For a warrior this fight was quick :D
what are your stats in this build?
I will show it in my Trilogy Build video. :)
@@AKisHerceg Like always cannot wait :D
Warrior in da2 is disapointing imo but u make it looks awesome
I love your videos bro 🙆♂️
Thanks! :)
Seeing that berserker builds rely on barrage up at all times how come you didn’t use it that much?

Nice ... well done sir 😁💪🏼 ... I have a challenge for you, If interested, Solo Beacon 😁 ... no need for Gefre ...
👍
Lol .. no matter what class or specialization you are, you always have to run around the room from the Arishok. 😂😂😂
Not with my Golden Knight or my Spirit Healer. :)
@@AKisHerceg you're right! 😁
