Hawke: Is the Flint Company bothering you again? Varric: - Hawke asked aggressively. Hawke: You know I hate it when you do that! Varric: - Hawke muttered in an angry aside to the dwarf. Oh God. Varric. I love you.
I think the aggressive personality gets way to much hate (ironically) It has a huuuge protagonist-value in my opinion Hawke, the guy/gal who takes no sh*it
Aggressive's my go to personality. Headcanons are just more fun with that personality like a mage who feels as though if she shows vulnerability then she falls apart or a warrior who is giant guard dog but a softy with his dog.
Especially depending on the situation. "Go back to Hightown" alright then, I'm defending myself with the aggressive option. "What are you dirty urchins doing here" 🤣
Mine murdered Carver in the Deep Roads. I role-played that his affliction of the dark spawn taint was due to her surreptitiously poisoning him with dark spawn blood.
I played an Aggressive Hawke, but I could never make her mean to her family. So I made her mostly Aggressive, but with a soft spot for family and they were the rare people she'd speak more softly/diplomatically to.
+BronzeFox Personally, I think it's funnier to bring up the whole "you ran off with a Qunari relic" over and over and over. Isabela will never live it down :P
This is what made Dragon Age 2 better than Origins: Your character actually had a voice and could interact with the other characters in story sequences, making the entire story so much more dynamic. The Warden sadly was just another boring mute player avatar like in so many other rpgs who stood around during such sequences looking like an idiot and not saying a word. Choosing a written answer and actually seeing your character say it in his/her own words makes such a huge difference to me in how invested I get in my characters story.
tofattofly1 It's like I say, love it or hate it the dialogue wheel doesn't belong in DA. This cancer has even spread to Fallout. Honestly, I look forward to the day when we can get a fully voiced and indepth text box. But the budget for something like that just doesn't exist.
Either they will need bigger budgets, or computer generated voices will have to get more advanced. Imagine having the option to use a microphone to record something you say, then the software would analyse it and use it to generate a voice for you character that would be used throughout the game. We can only dream for such a development
Robbert van den Berg I hate my voice and a lot of other people hate their own voices as well. I’d rather hear a paid voice actor than listen to my self for around 48 hours of gameplay.
haha. i like Meredith's face when hawke tells no mercy to the mages. i wish i find a woman who looks at me like meredith looks at mages being executed...
1:26 I couldn't bring myself to play as a agressive Hawke, but wow, she's badass as fuck. She's the sort of person you must try your best not to piss off. :P
this is what the inquisitor lacked. there's so much personality packed into every type of response. I loved the British actress for the inquisitor but the tone of each response wasn't as impactful as Hawke's. love the compilation though!
The Inquisitor was horrendously boring. The British voices were soft, and meek. The American ones were stupidly "tough". There's no typical adventurer, only the soft-spoken 16-year-olds who would cry over broken nails, or 40-year-olds with piercings on their genitalia. Inquisition was just bad in general. The voiced dialogue meant that we had basically no choices in contrast to choice-rich Origins, and the monotonous tones of the extremities that are these teenaged or elderly voice actors made every line into a flat monologue of nothing interesting, in contrast to Dragon Age 2. They should have had people like the Hawke voice actors, they were more normal adventurers, but were better at aggression, being sultry, or just being cool-headed.
Agressive hawke is just very direct on things and is all about moving forward humorous wears a mask on things I use to have blue mage purple rogue and red warrior now I perfer blue warrior red mage and purple rogue I like the blue/purple conversations with bethany and the red conversations with carver
No matter how hard I try I have never been able to play as fully aggressive hawke... I usually play has sarcastic hawke with some diplomatic and aggressive options thrown in.
"I just need your Grey Warden expertise, not a diatribe on your strange person habits." Lol! I love Aggressive Hawke, because s/he just has no social skills. Different to Renegade Shepard, who I think is more rude and snarky (like a combination of Aggressive/Funny Hawke). I like that morality in DA isn't tied exclusively to personality either. You could be Aggressive Hawke, and still rescue kittens from trees all the time. Though in Kirkwall, the tree would probably turn into an abomination. >.>
Female Hawke was tremendously better than Male Hawke. However, Mark Meer was better as Sheperd for me than Hale; although Sheperd was good in both. Male Hawke always sounded like such a dumbass. It really ruined my enjoyment of the game at times. He seemed like a character I wanted to have the option to punch not play as!
Merchant potion shop:Well looks like Kirkwall has one beautyful woman around here... Aggresive female hawke:Perhaps You should stopjerking me around and tell me where your son is... 😂😂😅
01:51 Carver got 0wned as he gets more 0wnage on 03:47. Isabela and her 0wnage 04:00 Meredith found herself a new best friend, or a rival... Who's going to be top bitch of Kirkwall!??!?! 05:03. Poor 0wnage 06:37
Everything were fine in this video except the part you punch the old man with Hubert. I'm sure that this is not cool. However, oh but the Hanged man is so filthy :)
@lastplayed Hopefully the next DA character will do something as ruthless as Shepard destroying the Batarian system (not that it was such a bad thing to do, really). Eradicate Orlais, maybe.
You should have done this with the male hawke. The female hawke is really awful when it comes to aggressive lines. The male hawke sounds threatening unlike the female one.
True but to me Hawke still felt more alive then the Warden who biggest response move was deciding whether or he should fold his hand behind his back or just smile and nod
It did add to the character in a certain way, but the point of the Warden not having a voice in DA:O was so that you could put your own voice to the character, making him/her sound as you please in your own mind. Putting a voice to the character removes this, which personally disappointed me, but it can improve a character if you choose the right actor for it. As for the animations, well, the weren't too many animations in either game, so I don't believe it's really a fair point.
In the beginning of Act 3 go to Red Lantern District in Hightown where in the map should be an exclamation mark ''!" there'll be a tanned guy named Nuncio accept his request to initiate the mission ''A Murder of Crows'' play through it and you'll see... PS. If you're having a romance thing with Isabela tag her along ..you'll want that.
You can do that for every chapter, so you can go through all three 'personalities' in one game if you please. It was supposedly Bioware trying to make Hawke seem like his/her character grew throughout the game, but it wasn't really that impressive.
Hawke: Is the Flint Company bothering you again?
Varric: - Hawke asked aggressively.
Hawke: You know I hate it when you do that!
Varric: - Hawke muttered in an angry aside to the dwarf.
Oh God. Varric. I love you.
WoW a that 6:36 is too cold for me. I did all the others once. Sarcastic Hawke has good dialogues too. Still this Hawke is a badass.
I....... I really like this hawke
+Jameson Holbrook Right? FemHawke is so hot when being choosing renegade options.
I prefer sarcastic Hawke myself. Good Hawke is too... good and aggressive Hawke makes me feel guilty. :D
I think the aggressive personality gets way to much hate (ironically)
It has a huuuge protagonist-value in my opinion
Hawke, the guy/gal who takes no sh*it
Aggressive's my go to personality. Headcanons are just more fun with that personality like a mage who feels as though if she shows vulnerability then she falls apart or a warrior who is giant guard dog but a softy with his dog.
A good combination of sarcasm and aggression
Especially depending on the situation.
"Go back to Hightown"
alright then, I'm defending myself with the aggressive option.
"What are you dirty urchins doing here" 🤣
My hawke is a type of guy who grief through sarcasm
Aggressive Hawke is my default Hawke. Diplomatic Hawke is too much of a pushover and sassy Hawke is completely absurd.
6:36 Damn, that's cold.
I mean, I need money too tho....
Kid should just git gud
lol "buy yourself a drink"
+Kelly MacLeod I wish that were an option in every RPG.
You're Hawke is such a sweet heart, she is the most kind and charming women I ever seen(sarcasm).
+Malon2006 lol thanks
+Malon2006 Malon2006 said sarcastically.
Hurlock alpha You know I hate it when you do that.
Malon2006
Malon2006 muttered in an angry aside to the darkspawn.
Hurlock alpha If Uh You Two Have A Moment.....
2:29 - Varric even facepalmed to that one lol
“They say your life flashes in front of your eyes before you die. Any helpful flashes yet?”
Iconic
Why act like the "Good one" when you can be the jerk? *-*
Best Hawke ever XD
I don't think I could ever have my Hawke be a jerk to Carver, he looks like a kicked puppy when she's mean to him.
All carver does is complain
This is oddly attractive. lol Bioware and "renegade" female protagonists, I swear.
9:14 I couldn't stop laughing when Hawke punched Isabela. I'm literally still laughing!
+BronzeFox Personally, I think it's funnier to bring up the whole "you ran off with a Qunari relic" over and over and over. Isabela will never live it down :P

The great voice acting certainly helped. By the way, Ciri from the Witcher 3 is voiced by the same person who voiced Hawke in Dragon Age 2.
In my opinion more options > voiced character
tofattofly1 It's like I say, love it or hate it the dialogue wheel doesn't belong in DA. This cancer has even spread to Fallout. Honestly, I look forward to the day when we can get a fully voiced and indepth text box. But the budget for something like that just doesn't exist.

That Arishok execution though... 😈
I don't get why mage Hawke stabs in cutscenes, she should just blast them with fire or lightning.
She just likes the feeling of stabbing it really satisfies her :3
@@owo4353 we pretend about Rogue female hawke stabbing arishok with her dagger right in his balls lol
She reminds me of Azula
At the end I could imagine Hawke saying "The fnck y'all lookin at?" xDD
"Don't give me that look. Be grateful for five minutes."
Lmao
haha. i like Meredith's face when hawke tells no mercy to the mages. i wish i find a woman who looks at me like meredith looks at mages being executed...
I can barely do this in any of the games... especially Mass Effect... it makes me almost cry. :(
Actually jerk Sheppard is quite logical and far more tame than one'd expect.
Getting Inquisition for Christmas. Really excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never really tried with Shepard. I just look at some of the decisions that are worse with Renegade and die a little inside XD
1:26 I couldn't bring myself to play as a agressive Hawke, but wow, she's badass as fuck. She's the sort of person you must try your best not to piss off. :P

@@Raizelash your in a middle of war not much room for personality
Hawke is also british
She's sick of everyone's slack and no one can blame her
You too might be a bit jaded if your family all gets murdered by blood mages
The 6:35 part though
The scene at 10:30 is actually one of the few times you'll get friend points with all your companions because what he did was so despicable.
His/her CHAMPION is actually quite pretty, to me.
I ALWAYS play aggressive Hawke lmao she is funnier than the sarcastic one
Agressive hawke is just very direct on things and is all about moving forward humorous wears a mask on things I use to have blue mage purple rogue and red warrior now I perfer blue warrior red mage and purple rogue I like the blue/purple conversations with bethany and the red conversations with carver
Sometimes sarcastic option is more jerky than the aggressive one though, so it can be good to use to max out the jerkyness
When I get this game I'm so going to make hawke like this.
6:37 This is the cruelest scene in DA 2...
I CAN'T WITH CULLEN'S FACE AT 05:15
Dunno why but the inquisition ver of this, is more funny
Wow...must've taken lessons from Shepard
I make my hawke a mage too, and a blood magic. And she's aggressive. Damn hypocrite badass
No matter how hard I try I have never been able to play as fully aggressive hawke...
I usually play has sarcastic hawke with some diplomatic and aggressive options thrown in.
Aggressive Hawke is the voice of reason, actually ;) xD
This should’ve been brought back to Inquisition. I loved purple and red Hawke lol
It was in DAI they didn't have colors but they were tone down probably because it was war
Entertaining. Hawke still has a lot of catching up to do to beat Commander Shepard, though. :P
10:47 The best reason to refuse his duel
"I just need your Grey Warden expertise, not a diatribe on your strange person habits." Lol!
I love Aggressive Hawke, because s/he just has no social skills. Different to Renegade Shepard, who I think is more rude and snarky (like a combination of Aggressive/Funny Hawke). Maker, It's like Hawke channel Azula in this bitch.
Oh and your Hawke is the woman of my dreams
When everyone thinks you are a good!hawke but in reality you are aggressive!hawke
Okay how does your Hawke look exactly like mine that’s wild!
This is a very bad game but I think the humor is great 😂
my girlfriend
"Your mother, too." Gah, such a sweetheart, she is :D
I feel so bad when she acts like a jerk to Carter. He looks so sad.
3:00 oh gawd did the dog just eat him?? holy shit.
I just love the aggressive dialog choices with Carver. xP
Maker bless Red Hawke. The best Hawke, by far.
lol! she is really a jerk XD
😂😂😅
I love aggressive fem!hawke, she's such a boss
Wow, she looks gorgeous
2:02 lmfao
Antisocial Hawke is antisocial.
If dialogue is terrible in this game then it must sounded as straight ass water in Origins especially since silent hero wasn't helping it
How do you read "Đragon"?
aggressive Hawke reminds me of Morrigon
Hawke: You're in my way....
Guard: We're under attack!!!
lol
01:51 Carver got 0wned as he gets more 0wnage on 03:47. Isabela and her 0wnage 04:00 Meredith found herself a new best friend, or a rival... Who's going to be top bitch of Kirkwall!??!?! 05:03. Poor 0wnage 06:37
looks like hawke is making a roaming gang of aggressive girls SHIT. Well.... I'm keeping my dagger extra close tonight.
I just want this version of Hawke to suffer.
Everything were fine in this video except the part you punch the old man with Hubert. I'm sure that this is not cool. However, oh but the Hanged man is so filthy :)

Still perfer saracastic hawke, tho she such a troll. Her line where she speaks to vicount when his son dies, is such a trolol moment :D
I prefer sarcastic Hawke. "I think you'll have to clarify, a lot of things are "my" fault."
Your Hawke is more masculine than Carver! XD
True but to me Hawke still felt more alive then the Warden who biggest response move was deciding whether or he should fold his hand behind his back or just smile and nod
so sassy
I like that my dog can kill and eat a man whole without staining the carpets! :)

Is the knife you can put in the neck of the dwarf Javaris a rogue only option? Because that's by far my favorite cutscene kill...
Basically keep picking aggressive responses early on then Hawkes persona gets locked in
How do you get a mage Hawke to fry the Arishok like that, does Hawke have to be aggressive?
Wow, where did hawke get that outfit at 2:15? Is it a mod or something?
The only way to play Hawke:
Male Hawke - Sarcastic wise-guy
Female Hawke - Hardcore bitch
9:21 up until this point I didn't take Isabela to be a masochist
My favourite: "You should've told him where he can shove that broken dish." such a bitch hahah
now i need a Aggressive mage just so i can kill the Arishok like that
whats that grey armor @ 1:02 and the red armor @ 1:05, is that DLC armor?
nvm cheked the wiki, they're DLC armor and ive got the DLC already, lol
You can do that for every chapter, so you can go through all three 'personalities' in one game if you please.
It was supposedly Bioware trying to make Hawke seem like his/her character grew throughout the game, but it wasn't really that impressive.
6:53 This scene is so evil and brilliant at the same time lol
9:20
wonder why the faked one is the one i feel is the hardest of them all
I've done a playthrough as a mage and I didn't do that... so you definitely have to be aggressive Hawke.
how come you have the brother with you? i thought he died
do i look like a bronto lol i just stated loling
Does that mean the other two behaviors also have unique moves in cut scenes?
With her red hair and the jerk attitude she reminds me of Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail.
by letting him die of his wounds(that is what my Mage Hawke did)
@frogger12346
It's in the third act during her personal quest.
10:05 I tought Hawke would Kung Fu kick this Guy! That would have been great!
The whole video hawke is here a jerk and at the last kill he gets applaused....Best ending ever
At 05:03 from which quest is this scene from? The Last Straw?
