Am a big fan of Japanese XD,now I have a new favorite, Koreans just proved it wasn’t just luck in world championships and now in China open.. well played and you guys just out played the world number 1s…👍🏽👍🏽
I am the same. The Korean pair makes lot of improvements in this summer. They are now advanced to the top of the top players. I still support Japanese XD. Both use brain to play games rather than heavily rely on smashing.

Huang YQ is still the best female XD player, at least one of the best. While Zheng seems not performing his best recently , quite some mistakes made him the main target of this rally, hope Zheng will come back soon
Best female XD only Liliyana Natsir because she is female in XD four tittle world champion
Another match that will go down as one of the best XD matches, looking forward to see Watanabe/Higashino vs Seo/Chae

Jpn pair lost to french pair
SEO/ Chae pair has already advanced to a new chapter in this summer season,, YEs,, captured the crown in world champ is the biggest reward in their lifetime so far,, BUT plus this victory again here,, THEY both quietly kept the elation inside their heart------which is----- beat their strongest opponents twice in a roll..
THIS is a reminiscent of something happened in 2012,, when men's doulbe competition clash between FU/CAI vs LEE yongdae , CHUNG kaisung,, , IN 2012,, LEE/Chung beat FU/CAI in denmark open and french open,, Remember these 2 are 750 series , very important super series tournaments.. they beat FU/CAI twice in a roll. , a strong favor sign for Lee/chung to thrive in coming London olympic that year 2012...
BUt guess what??? FU/CAI were no fool at all,, they literally responded to everyone by clinching the title in final...

Under tremendous pressure,, Huang is unable to sustain as well as CHAE, chae still able to return the shuttle really close to the tape, just barely over the net,, this way leave extremely low clearance, no chance for the opponent to hit the shuttle, , by the same time, HUang was eager to do the same but showing flaws,, and loss points,,, THAT's the difference between these two,,,
I think that although losing, Huang does have amazing defense.
Huang did amazing defence but still a bit less amazing than Chae. This was very obvious difference in their recent two head to head encounters.
Great to see these 2 pairs duke it out again in a rematch of the World Championships final. Amazing rallies at 46:12 and 49:34!

No one can be the winner forever even i wish zheng/huang be fulfill the Olympic champion. Looks like less chance😢😢
they are the best mix double in the world right now. Seem that no one can beat them at the moment. their defense is out of this world. smash at the backcourt doesnt affect them. The only pair can make Zheng Huang play so passively like that. The Korean pair will own the Olympic gold 2024
China has dominated XD for so long. The downgrade of China means that the upgrade of the Korean. They can win 4/5 of categories in Olympic 2024

Something to laugh about really. It’s like still a year to go. Some very wishful thinking rather… having said that, I do think the Koreans stand a better chance of taking a win over the world no. 1 Chinese pair at the Olympics if they keep their level of performance while the Chinese do nothing to the new challenge. Zheng’s hard smashes lack placement, he was the one that kept himself running from one side of the court to another.

Have you seen them play in this tournament so far? I think Seo was a late bloomer and has matured his game, they are the pair to beat right now just like how the thais were at one point.

Huang was out of play mostly in this match and zheng was being carefull the fwhole time, Chae has grown in confidence and now is making winners with authority

Chae Yujung's improved her defense, and no longer always lifting the shuttle whenever she's in a defense situation.... Great to see her stepped up and willing to refine her skills

China pair too reliant on Zheng. Ya Qiong has been passive lately and need to contribute more or perhaps change their style of play. The Korean pair is now a better pair then them.

The Korean duo are faster.
As we can see that the Korean pair had made Zheng to run back and forth alot, they didn't smash too much and just play flat games, wait until Zheng tired and made some unforced errors
Zheng lacks serious awareness of the placement of his hard smashes. If you can’t hit the shuttle when you are yet to be outstretched at the first couple of rallies, you end up returning the shuttle with less and less quality, nevertheless the placement.
@@first8956That strategy had worked for him for years, Koreans could only catch that because they have the defence to counter the chineses. Now Zheng will work and find another strategy, Huang might work on rear court to get more comfortable. As they say, there's always room for improvment

It's NOT fair for you to compare across disciplines: LI Junhui had a terrible XD record when paired with TANG Yuanting, while WANG/HUANG did not even come close to ZHENG/HUANG's winning percentage...
dont be angry or upset as zheng/huang lose, there is always next meeting. stay calm n watch next match.
